23.01.2022 DON'T NEGLECT YOUR SKIMMER BOX :-( Your poor skimmer box works hard ... constantly filtering the water in your pool, but it can only work if there is water there! For your pool to filter and clean properly, water needs to be going through your Skimmer Box at all times. In this hot weather, with gusty winds and high pool usage, your water levels are at risk of dropping below this box. Check regularly and pop in the hose as needed to maintain this level. It needs to be at t...he right level in order for us to service your pool, as it is essential for our "back wash" service. If it gets too low, it can "suck in air" and damage your pump, which means unnecessary $$$ - ouch! Outside of our services, where we always check your Skimmer Basket, it is a good idea to always check it yourself. This is especially important if there has been high winds or you have a lot of foliage dropping into the pool. Also we have found wildlife trapped in the basket - from birds to lizards to frogs. Check regularly to save a life! Be careful though - tip out the skimmer basket rather than reaching in with your hands. Oasis Pool Care will only be closed for a few days over Christmas in order to ensure your pool is sparkling for you and your family / friends to enjoy over the festive season. ... Our operation dates for regular servicing (and onsite issue repairs) are as follows: 23rd December & 24th December - OPEN 25th December to 29th December - CLOSED 30th December & 31st December - OPEN 1st January to 5th January - CLOSED 6th January - OPEN and back to work as usual Should any major repairs need to be done, our suppliers are unavailable from 23rd December 2019 to 6th January 2020 inclusive, but feel free to contact us as the phones / emails will be regularly checked over this time.
