25.01.2022 10 things I gift myself daily... 1. Exercise (at least 20 minutes) 2. Eat healthy food (regularly) 3. Drink 2x litters of water... 4. Meditate (at least ten minutes) 5. Read something for knowledge 6. Read something for fun 7. Sleep (at least six hours) 8. Challenge myself (pick one & complete it) 9. Relax (at least 10 minutes) 10. Be thankful Some of these are planned and scheduled, some are ad-hoc and Yes of course I have days were some of these things aren't completed or even not done. The point is to remember to gift myself daily, not to worry about completing tasks. What's the one thing you could be gifting yourself daily, that if done, would change your life?

25.01.2022 Here are ten life changing tips inspired by quotes from the great Sufi poet, Rumi: 1. Challenge Fear "Run from whats comfortable. Forget safety. Live where you fear to live. Destroy your reputation. Be notorious."... 2. Be Bold "Do not be satisfied with the stories that come before you. Unfold your own myth." 3. Have Gratitude "Wear gratitude like a cloak and it will feed every corner of your life." 4. Take Action "Why should I stay at the bottom of a well, when a strong rope is in my hand?" 5. Have Faith "As you start to walk out on the way, the way appears." 6. Embrace Setbacks "If you are irritated by every rub, how will you be polished?" 7. Look Inside "Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it." 8. Learn From Suffering "The wound is the place where the Light enters you." 9. Don't Be Concerned With What Others Think Of You "I want to sing like the birds sing, not worrying about who hears or what they think." 10. Do What You Love "Let yourself be drawn by the stronger pull of that which you truly love." What's your favorite Rumi quote?

25.01.2022 Eavesdropping I hear it all too often "I'm so stupid", "I always forget things", "I never get this stuff right" and I think to myself, if only these people knew how damning these Cognitive Distortion are for their self belief and internal representations. When making these statements the subliminal command is delivered to your subconscious by the most unexpected of enemies YOU. Mixed with generalisations and distortions e.g. always, never and so, these seemingly harmless li...ttle statements can have lasting negative effects on you and those ears of the young/impressionable around you. So choose to be kind - to self and others. "The realisation that our words don't describe the world we live in, but determine it"

25.01.2022 Hunting for Happiness... It would seem that once again we are encouraged to prove to ourselves that everything we seek is available to us here, now. Today, stop several times, turn your attention to the breath, relax as much as possible and receive.

24.01.2022 Each moment is a place you've never been. Mark Strand www.livingcompassion.org

24.01.2022 Make joy the cause... Don't wait for joy to be a result of what you do. Make joy the cause of what you do. Striving for good things will not make you happy. Let go of the striving, be happy, live that happiness, and the good things will come.... Be determined and ambitious, but not out of a desperate sense of need. Do it out of a love for the possibilities. Don't think of yourself as merely trying. See that everything you do is moving you forward. Your perspective makes all the difference, so choose a positive, forward-looking one. Be a living affirmation of the beauty and value of your life. Make real, authentic joy your cause. And make your results truly spectacular. --Ralph Marston

23.01.2022 I've just finished Benchmarking and Leading 24x amazing coaches to get Coaching Mastery with Michael Hall and The Coaching Room at Sydney Uni. This was an incredible journey of 10x days straight of 14-16hrs per day with little to no breaks. This experience was my hardest and simultaneously my most triumphant challenge. I would like to congratulate all the Masters of ACMC 2014 and warn the people of Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne that there are very compassionate, challenging and super capable Master Coaches heading your way, so watch out :)

21.01.2022 The Void The Black Whole The Emptiness They are things I most feared and am still (today) challenged with. They are a common subject matter for my clients and people I meet (I know strange conversations). When we remove the pain, the distractions, the damaging behaviours we are left with an emptiness and at first this emptiness is uncomfortable or overwhelming and the most common response is to find something, someone or some other pain to fill it. To jam it full, to hide... or numb it so it can be forgotten. What would you say if I told you the void is stillness, your soul, your beauty and your true divine self having a moment of freedom in awe inspiring loving silence. May I ask how your perception would change and therefore your approach to the FEELING of emptiness with this in MIND?

20.01.2022 The map is not the territory. People represent the world internally to create their own personal and subjective realities. We respond mainly to our internal experience (map of reality), not to the external reality itself. How we represent things in our mind are our interpretations. Interpretations may or may not be accurate. In any case, these interpretations determine how we experience each moment, and therefore lay the foundation for our experience of reality in the future ...too. Having choices about how to interpret your reality now, changes your experience of it. And having more choices available to you begins by choosing to interpret each experience in a way that frees your thinking to explore different points of view. So, how else can you look at your situation, and how else, and how else? In this way your map of reality expands. Jevon Dangeli

17.01.2022 The Courage to Fight for Chocolate Cake I'm a lover of chocolate and all things cake, so when it comes to Easter Friday through to Sunday I'm challenged with an abundance of both. No this is not a story of courage and abstinence, but instead a story of ones power - decide to or not to. ... Our four human powers; 1. Thoughts 2. Feelings 3. Behaviour 4. Speech Use them for good or evil, I choose to enjoy a little chocolate through easter :)

15.01.2022 Dreams don't have a time limit Choose the life you want to live and find the path/paths of challenge that help make it your reality. Be brave enough to touch what you hold in mind.

15.01.2022 The Fear of Change Change is inevitable, time passes by so quickly...change happens all around us eveyday weather we like it or not. Enjoy the moment while you can, one day it will just be another distorted memory. Change is inevitable. Growth is optional.... John C. Maxwell See more

13.01.2022 What is a belief? A belief is a gross generalisation that filters in & filters out of reality... Created through;... Thought > Yes > Meaning > Mine/Own > Belief What beliefs have you created or been gifted? Are they serving you???

11.01.2022 The Power of Intention There is an expression where your attention goes, energy flows followed by your intention. Take a moment to walk into a room in your home and track your eye movementwhere does your attention go? ... What catches your gaze when you first walk in your front door? Similar to the idea that like attracts like and our intentions shape and create our realitywhat you put your attention on in a room sets the mood and defines the purpose of the room, which in turn influences and shapes our daily interactions and feelings. Make sure where your attention goes is in alignment with your goals and supports the feelings you want to experience in your home and life. Where would your focused energy best serve you tomorrow?

09.01.2022 Work, work, work it's so daily As tomorrow is the first day back from the long weekend and for some of us from an even longer break over Easter. I thought this quote poignant :) Two horses were carrying ... two loads. The front horse went well, but the rear horse was lazy. The men began to pile the rear horse's load on the front horse; when they had transferred it all, the rear horse found it easy going, and he said to the front horse: "Toil and sweat! The more you try, the more you have to suffer." When they reached the tavern, the owner said: "Why should i fodder two horses when I carry all on one? I had better give the one all the food it wants, and cut the throat of the other; at least I shall have the hide." And so he did. See more

09.01.2022 Something worth sharing...

08.01.2022 Playfulness "When you get serious you get stupid" When learning something new or again; some would say "study hard, put in long hours and get great results" "concentrate as this stuff is serious"... Although I believe there is some truth in those statements, I also think it's important to look lightly, listen gently and feel playfully through new and revisited learnings, as feeding the mind is a beautiful gift and can be received lovingly without stress and judgement. What have you learnt lately that would have been benefited by a little love (playfulness) and joy (excitement) when learning?

08.01.2022 An old Grandfather said to his grandson, who came to him with anger at a friend who had done him an injustice... "Let me tell you a story." "I too, at times, have felt great hate for those who have taken so much, with no sorrow for what they do. But hate wears you down, and does not hurt your enemy. It's like taking poison and wishing your enemy would die. I have struggled with these feelings many times. " "It is as if there are two wolves inside me; one is good and does no... harm. He lives in harmony with all around him and does not take offense when no offense was intended. He will only fight when it is right to do so, and in the right way." "But...the other wolf... ah! The littlest thing will send him into a fit of temper. He fights everyone, all of the time, for no reason. He cannot think because his anger and hate are so great. It is helpless anger, for his anger will change nothing." "Sometimes it is hard to live with these two wolves inside me, for both of them try to dominate my spirit." The boy looked intently into his Grandfather's eyes and asked, "Which one wins, Grandfather ?" The Grandfather smiled and quietly said, "The one I feed." Which wolf do you feed? And how do you feed the one you choose?

06.01.2022 Self-love is not so vile a sin as self-neglecting. William Shakespeare Today, notice how self-neglecting is as selfish and indulgent as the most egocentric self-love.

05.01.2022 Stop trying, FAIL if you want - I learnt how to stand while sitting - I learnt how to crawl while standing - I learnt how to walk while crawling ... - I learnt how to run while walking The only missing component was the strengthening of your muscles which were only created by attempting something you'd never done before with sheer belief you could do it. This process started at about six months old and ran through (excuse the pun) till 5-6 years old, around five years to complete a task and the most frustrating thing to Americans today is the time it takes to start their computer. If that's how you looked at challenges as YOUR younger SELF, what are you doing to challenge YOURSELF Today?

05.01.2022 Today, look to see what good things you want to do while you still have time. Share your one thing?

05.01.2022 Life without passion isn't life, it's existing... What are you passionate about?

04.01.2022 Strengths & Weaknesses... "Think about what I've just asked" A little while ago one of my colleagues asked me "what are your strengths and weaknesses" and I was about to answer, he stopped me and said "pause for a moment think about what I have asked and answer the question by telling me what Strengthens YOU and what Weakens YOU in what you do or choose to do?"... As you read this what came to mind for you?

03.01.2022 Busyness... Is it business or busyness we are focusing on? I often find its the latter, being lost in the small stuff and busily sleep walking through life is not serving us.... Who here has had a busy day?

03.01.2022 Anzac Day is an important national occasion and a time for people to come together to respectfully remember those who fought and lost their lives for our country. I honour you by being in the moment and respectfully living my life with love in my heart and sharing it with the world.

02.01.2022 All truths are easy to understand once they are discovered; the point is to discover them. Galileo Truth is an interesting notion, isnt it? We seem to lack evidence that there is any such thing as a truth that is true everywhere all the time. And yet, in any given moment, we might have an insight that shows us what is true for us now.

01.01.2022 Hiding from the world is in service of WHO? Last week I was speaking with a woman at Centrelink (as part of my pro bono work) who was convinced staying at home and hiding from the world was better then interacting with some of the people she sees and witness in her area of Bankstown. She eventually released that staying at home and not interacting with the world was also stoping her from meeting the beautiful people in the world or living up to her true potential. How many of you are hiding from your True Potential and would benefit from stepping outside the mental homes/fortress we create and finding the light not the darkness that most nourishes us?
