When they were considering how much to buy, they googled ‘how long does honey keep for’ and found that Honey was revered in ancient Egypt, and until recently the oldest honey in the world was found in an Egyptian tomb it was 3,000 years old and placed in honey pots in the tomb of deceased pharoah King Tut to keep him happy on his celestial journey to the afterlife. 14.01.2022 Dear community We are in winter and our honey will start to crystallise as it is stored in cooler temperatures. Specifically honey will crystallise faster when it’s stored under 11C. Honey is best stored at temperatures above 25C to avoid crystallisation. If your honey is crystallised, which means it is in a semi-solid state you can follow a simple process outlined in the information below to make it runny again. Crystallized honey is perfectly safe to eat if you enjoy it... that way (and its easier to clean up after kids have been eating)!
