22.01.2022 Wriggle and read has returned fortnightly at the Mitcham Memorial Library on Wednesday and the Blackwood Library on Thursday at 10.30am during school terms. Join us for songs and rhymes aimed at 0-2 year olds, their parents, grandparents and caregivers. Come along and meet other new parents and gain confidence in singing and communicating with your child. Sessions will follow social distancing guidelines and a station will be set up for hand sanitation, wipes and tissues. 20.01.2022 Council services will be restricted in Mitcham Council's high fire risk area tomorrow, Friday 27 November, as a fire danger rating of Extreme has been declared. Domestic waste may be collected. Council will continually monitor the conditions to ensure the safety of our community and waste truck operators. This may result in changes to waste collection, for example the time your waste is usually collected.
