15.01.2022 There are so many reasons to own a Thermomix, and every owner has their own personal reasons for cooking with their Thermomix. Things such as time saving, money saving, using as a preparation tool in restaurants and cafes, ease of entertaining and the list goes on. Here's my BIG reason. My baby turns 5 tomorrow and anyone that knows me knows that I pride myself on cooking from scratch, including baking my children's cakes for their birthdays. So this weekend I was time poo...r so bought some pre-made cakes from the supermarket to use to create my masterpiece (). While unpacking the cakes I noticed the used by dates and nearly fell over. The cakes were dated 23/10/2020 and 29/10/2020. How on earth do these cakes stay fresh for that long?!? I really don't want to know, but you can see the lengthy ingredients list. Anyway... My biggest reason I use my Thermomix is so I know what's in our food. Photos of the masterpiece, usual Sunday bread loaf and some choc chip cookies made using my sourdough starter discard.
