18.01.2022 Today is Global MND/ALS Awareness Day, which gives us a chance to raise awareness about Motor Neurone Disease. We're pleased to help launch a documentary about ...MND, 'Legacy Left Behind' by Abbie Abela which can be viewed at http://ow.ly/HKpn50AaUOw Get involved & raise awareness by liking & sharing this post, or share your MND own story with the hashtag #ALSMNDWithoutBorders or help Queenslanders with MND by donating at www.givenow.com.au/mndaq. Abbie's Bio: My name is Abbie Abela and I am 18 years old. I currently study a Bachelor of Film and TV at JMC Academy where I created my documentary 'Legacy Left Behind.' The documentary explores the stories of my grandma, Annette Clayton who lost her battle with MND and current fighter Katerina Graham. Whilst giving the audience a peak into their lives, 'Legacy Left Behind' also raises awareness about Motor Neurone Disease and tells people about MND QLD. I wanted to share this story as my Grandma was a very important part of my life. She taught me everything I needed to know and was such a strong willed person who never let the disease get to her, however it made her enjoy life even more and make the most of her time remaining on this earth. She inspired me to never give up and I want people to be inspired by her story also and hopefully this documentary does that justice. #ALSMNDWithoutBorders #MND #documentary #NeverGiveUp
