23.01.2022 The committee agreed that under the current circumstances of uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 that club trading will be suspended from close of business Friday 20th March 2020 until further notice. This decision was not taken lightly however we have a duty of care to members, guests and staff. In addition to the above; - the annual Easter and Anzac Day bowls tournaments have been cancelled - the Bowls Closing Day event and Presentation Night have been postponed... - the Annual General Meeting has been postponed - the Pool Competition has been postponed - club hire bookings have been cancelled. You will all be aware by now of the impact this virus has had on the wider community and the reasons why, so there is point in repeating them again here other than to say stay safe and follow the information given by those qualified to do so. These will be difficult times ahead for the club as we still have the basic running costs to deal with so please continue to support your club while we are in limbo. All membership subscriptions as usual expire on 30th April and renewal notices will be sent out in the next few weeks. We are respectfully asking your support by timely payment of these subscriptions as they will be vital to maintain the club until such time as things return to normal.
