24.01.2022 So the first big test of the reduced power supply for Victoria. Are you ready? then if your not you had better get into see us for a standby power generator. We have limited stocks of the Honda inverter generators as well as the Briggs & Stratton units, these range from 1Kw to 9Kw supply capacities. So don't be left in the dark or worse no cold drinks over Christmas (now that would be criminal). 24.01.2022 Ok there has been a lot of battery product released onto the market over the last few years, being a camper and having a caravan, like most campers I have a petrol driven chainsaw, I mean what else would the owner of a Stihl Shop have. I decided to give the Stihl MSA140 battery chainsaw a go last weekend, what a bloody ripper, very little noise and I had no issue cutting a 12" log up into sizable pieces to go onto the fire. We have set one up in the shop so if your thinking about going camping and would like to have a go at of these come in and we can let you rip into a log set up in store. One of the benefits is NO petrol so NO smell, how good is that. While your in the shop check out all of the other great battery Products now available from Stihl.

14.01.2022 Sometimes we are asked to do special things, I had a mate ask me yesterday if we at Morleys Machinery would do a special job for him, you see his grandfather was killed a number of years ago by a hit & run driver, he was the owner of a very old McCuloch 380 chainsaw which my friend now owns and he asked if we could do a resto project on it for him. well here are a few photos of it before we start, David Sawyer our workshop manager will take this project on and I have no doubt do it justice. we will keep you up to date with the progress.

13.01.2022 Well mother nature turned it on yesterday, didn't she? The traders in the CBD lost power for some time just to cap it off, for most this meant NO Business because most of us (if not all) rely on power for our point of sale systems, well thanks to our IT people Jacobus IT Solutions who installed our UPS system and our backup generator we were able to carry on all be it in the partial dark. So while everyone is thinking about solar systems you might also want to have a think about automatic changeover emergency power generation that can be hooked up to your solar or to the main switchboard to provide power when the States system fails.
