Tim took out a race win in an epic battle in Race 2 of the APRA - Australian Pulsar Racing Association Ltd at Sydney Motorsport Park yesterday (Saturday 13th June), travelled to Canberra for the Round 3 of the Southern Star Series competing in the TAG 125 light class. Heat 1 - DNF (Unfortunately, Tims kart threw a chain)... Heat 2 - 1st Place Heat 3 - 2nd Place Heat 4 - 1st Place Heat 5 - DNS. Another unfortunate result for Tim, with a mechanical problem prior to the start of the race. Well done to you and your team on such a fantastic weekend of racing. 05.01.2022 "Race Control to all competitors, please stand by for racing restart" #BackOnTrack - You read it right, we've been given the green light. 13th June will see us return to racing at Sydney Motorsport Park. While we'll have an adjusted schedule to what was originally planned, this event will see us host 4 x Endurance Categories and 1 x sprint category for the day. ... Series X3 NSW - Hyundai Excel Racing will start the day off with a 1 hour endurance race, followed by APRA - Australian Pulsar Racing Association Ltd who will also complete a 1 hour endurance race. Super TT will complete 2 x 30 min back to back races, and to finish off the day, we'll see the RX8 CUP SERIES combine with MX5 Cup to compete in 2 x 30 min back to back races. We have been in constant communication with Australian Autosport Alliance (AASA) (who issue our permits), also with Wakefield Park and Sydney Motorsport Park regarding our up coming events. 03.01.2022 How Regular are you? We're talking about your lap times of course. On Sunday 9th August at Wakefield Park, we're running a regularity competition. ... What is regularity? Regularity is about consistency in lap times, it's not about being the fastest, or having the highest budget. How does it work? Very simple. You'll head out on the track for a practice session, then after each session you have to nominate a time that you're going to stick to in the next session. You'll be given a set amount of points, if you go too fast or too slow compared to the time you nominated... you loose points. The person with the highest points at the end of the day wins. What requirements are there? The same as a normal super sprint. Wrist-neck-ankle clothing, helmet, battery triangle, and your competition number. If you're unsure... give us a call and we'll happily talk to you about it. What Licence do I need? We recommend a Australian Autosport Alliance (AASA) Club Level Licence, you can even purchase a day licence if you need one. We'll also accept a CAMS L2S licence. What car can I drive? pretty much any car. Road Car, Track Car or Race Car. How old do I have to be? Well, you can be old, or you can be as young as 16. Who is the type of event for? It's open to anyone, if you're just starting out, if you've been doing track days or super sprints. Come along and see what a race meeting is like, without having the race car.
