25.01.2022 An announcement regarding practice for friday before the last national round has just been made. We get 3 hours 12 till 3 the MTBA clearly hasn’t learnt from its blunders from Bright. In years past practice has been all Friday with a track walk on the Thursday. Oh I forgot to mention it will also cost you 50$ for the Friday practice.

25.01.2022 What’s more embarrassing than MTBA? It would have to be the UCI Mountain Bike running World Champs and World Cup with 80% of the Junior riders not even able to be there. How they declared rainbow jerseys last weekend is ridiculous, not only the lack of riders but the conditions were horrendous. 25.01.2022 MTBA has listen to riders and extended Friday practise now from 2-6pm. It's still a bit short and late for our liking but it's better than nothing.

24.01.2022 Good to see that we had riders loaded on busses and up the hill. Only to be greeted with another line at the top of the hill. I didn’t realize that the mtb world kept to office hours.

23.01.2022 Mountain Bike Australia - MTBA at there utmost best again, announcing a Team for World Champs but then telling the Juniors they can't go? Seriously how does that work when most of these riders are 18 and adults, why were they not allowed to make their own decisions like the Elites? What about some of the Juniors whom won't get another go in this category, we've been told there is a few, how fair is this? 21.01.2022 Practise for National champs is a total joke. People have driven a long way to be here and to only get 3 practise runs is just a total piss take. MTBA you are running our sport into the ground, start listening to your riders and provide a much better service. We know we are not your princess XC riders but surly you can treat us a little better!

17.01.2022 Once again we see DownHill riders being treated as 2nd best. Camp Crusty will let you pitch your team tent on there property but at a per person and per day price whilst our XC riders get to be near there track for no cost at all. How is this fair to the DownHill community Mountain Bike Australia - MTBA

17.01.2022 A big proportion of racers have driven 8 hours to be in Bright for National Champships. No one is going to be happy about only 3 hours of practise today. MTBA must realise that first and foremost we are here to ride our bikes and have a good time. Your lack of transport for the number of racers is going to make this weekend a shambles and will make people think twice about going to a national event again!

17.01.2022 Have a look at this number plate. It’s a thicker plastic, it’s shaped well and fits the bike and it’s not the size of a piece of A4 paper. Mountain Bike Australia - MTBA any chance you could look at better number plates in the future?

15.01.2022 So the Event Schedule has only 3.5 hours of practise on Friday afternoon starting a 2pm for a cost of $45. Alot of people have booked and paid for Thursday night accomidation to allow for a normal days practise at Thredbo. Can we please get your thoughts on this, we think it should be a full days practise starting at 9am and be the normal price Thredbo charges for a day of race practise.

14.01.2022 275 riders on a Friday practice with 4 busses is a joke. 3 hours practice on a Saturday is abysmal. Have there been any thought about adding an extra bus or 3.

12.01.2022 Mountain Bike Australia - MTBA, how about giving some up and coming photographers a go. Your current ones only concentrate on Elite riders or riders they know in the younger age groups. Kids love photos so why not give a photographer who will take them a pass.

10.01.2022 So the National Series is up a running again. We are hoping for a great series but $45 for Friday practise for only 3.5 hours late in the afternoon seems a bit rich. Surely the track walk should start at 9am and then open practise at 11.30?

How can they justify doing this to them when they are our up and coming Elite’s? 07.01.2022 B group racing is done and dusted, there is a fair bit of time before A races. Why do B group have to wait till after A has finished for podiums? They should be awarded now!

07.01.2022 MTBA the national series has been run and won! Why weren't series overalls present today after the race? Plenty of people have committed to the series but not Champs. You need to be more open and transparent with your timetable and decisions. You wonder why numbers are down, we are hear to tell you it's because of rubbish like this!

04.01.2022 It has been brought to our attention that the National Cup for 2019 has been over for 6 months now and the place getters still have nothing to show for it. WTF Mountain Bike Australia - MTBA this is just not good enough. Please don’t blame this on Covid-19 as you had a good 3 months before the virus hit to sort this out.

04.01.2022 We got a beer from the brewery and we're watching the competition for Elite trials yesterday. The competition was world class but we were very disappointed that the commentator from the XC event kept talking over the top of the trials commentary. What made it even worse was that the XC commentator was just waffling on about nutrition and stuff that really didn't matter. Come on MTBA give Trials the 5 minutes in the sun that they deserve and stop worrying about XC!!!

01.01.2022 The final round of the DH national series was postponed over a week ago now and we have heard nothing from MTBA about when and where the race will be held.

01.01.2022 MTBA have just announced that this weekends race has been postponed. We applaude the MTBA for keeping riders safe BUT, seriously making this call this late is a joke! You had all this information earlier in the week. Make the call early and allow people time to orgainse. There are riders already at Narby or already traveling. Its way to late to be making this call. It should have been done on Monday or Tuesday. Its nice of you to refund our entry costs but what about or accomidation? You havent even given us a new date. Its very hard with 100s of people all ringing to postpone accomidation with no new date in mind.
