22.01.2022 Today we were suppose to be in Tasmania for the annual ICPA federal conference but due to covid it had to be cancelled and moved to online. This is one of the motions our branch put forward to help families like ours get access to internet services for our children to be able to do school. Not many people have to think or fight for these kinds of things as it is just comes hand in hand but for us and many others its a daily struggle. I was suppose to be a voting delegate onl...ine today for our branch but low & behold our internet wouldnt work! Our children are entitled to an education & fair conditions like everyone else. Im so glad we have the ICPA Aust - Isolated Childrens Parents Association / ICPA - Alice Springs Branch fighting & making sure we all get treated fairly! 20.01.2022 Hello lovely people!! Danyelle here from Murranji Water Drilling. Just thought I’d drop in and give you all a bit of an update on our 2020 travels. It’s been ...a big few months up here in the Northern Territory. We’ve been flat strap installing as many water bores as we can cause there’s a good chance the wet season’s going to start a few months early - which is fabulous news for all the farmers! We’ve been trucking all over inland Australia travelling from Western Qld to Eastern WA and all through the NT! I just finished an eight hour drive today in my quad and only covered 120kms of dirt road! Add to that a couple of flat tyres and a really sad teething baby who doesn’t like sitting still for long and you’ll have some idea of how my day panned out!! Because of COVID, we haven’t been home since June which is pretty devastating cause we’re really missing our fur babies, families and friends. Thankfully our Aussie outback friends have welcomed us and kept us entertained and occupied attending and watching heart-stoppingly thrilling campdrafts and rodeos. In the meantime I’ve been continuing my weight loss journey whilst on the road. It’s hard but thankfully I’m really starting to make some progress now! We’re about to start gearing up for filming Season 9 of Outback Truckers which will go to air on FreeTV 7mate in 2021. Pull up a chair if you’ve time as we’ve got some awesome adventures to share with you all! That’s all from me for now. 09.01.2022 DAY 2 traveling home from the NT yesterday was definitely a better day. After we finally got some Tyres trucked in from Townsville over night we were on our way. Made it to Barcaldine at 7pm last night only place to spell the horses! A huge day for all of us including the fur animals. The boys did so well considering we only stopped twice! Another huge day ahead of us today let’s hope we make it to Roma with no hassles!

08.01.2022 Well today definitely didn’t go to plan... something didn’t want us leaving the NT! After a full days driving we finally got to Cloncurry, a trip that should of taken 4-5 hours took 11 hours instead. Truck wouldn’t start, 6 blown Tyres, broken generator, all food in fridge perished after clips breaking on it whilst traveling and to top it off there are no Tyres in the Western Qld vicinity! When I use to think what it would look like in the middle of our countr...y, I would think dirt, desert, hot & nothing pretty to look at but its the complete opposite the country here is absolutely breath taking! 04.01.2022 As some of you have already heard I(Danyelle) made the cut to star in the TV show Adventure All Stars on channel 7. On the 29th of august I’ll be sent to an unknown remote location with strangers for 7 days & some of the crazy adventures that I may be doing include jumping out of a plane, speed boating, swimming with crocs, hot air ballooning, just to name a few. I hate heights, bugs, the unknown & being away from my boys and this adventure has me facing so many of my fears (...obviously great entertainment for you all) but I’m doing it to raise money for a charity that is close to my heart, Diabetes Australia.
