23.01.2022 There is no energy to support the old matrix and so you are seeing it collapsing. People can no longer sustain the unkind lies that they have accepted and they... will continually arise within them until they are transmuted by the True Love of SELF. Thus the chaos (insanity) in the world of human affairs. A giant vortex within and without drawing everything not of Love back into the "Mix". Let go and allow. Laugh and cry and have fun. This IS Loving and Trusting Yourself. So it is not about doing anything in particular. It is about BEING Love. This world we are living in right now has a fifth dimensional underpinning without a veil. As such ONLY Love works. So waking up is waking up to your own Lovingness. And it does not mean at all that somehow you are falling short. Stop believing that that the Movie out there has any power over your choice of feeling of alignment in any given moment. We are Remembering that there are cycles of physicality and we are getting to be at Home with the ups and downs of experience as part of it. Not something that determines our worth. 22.01.2022 Our capacity for embodied pleasure depends on our ability to receive, which is like a muscle that can atrophy if its been habitually contracted. A learned sen...se of unworthiness can act as a barrier against our well-being, keeping us from opening to the beauty thats all around us. Whether its our ability to receive positive feedback and support, or to expect things to work out in our favour, we may be distrustful of goodness even when it stands on our doorstep. But this doesnt have to be a permanent condition. With practice, we can learn how to welcome beauty and receive pleasure wholeheartedly. With the expanded capacity to receive comes the awareness of how long one has lived constricted. How long one has felt unseen. How long one has hidden their tender parts away from hostility and invalidation. Imagine the enormity of grief and gratitude that flow in simultaneously, stretching the receiving muscle. 21.01.2022 Wuwei or non-doing is not just about doing nothing In the eyes of Tao, if no action is needed based on the laws of nature, doing anything is overdoing. ... The action however insignificant can do you more harm than good. For example, if you are growing a plant, having given it the right conditions from the sunlight and the fertilizer to the water, leave it alone! This is the best way to ensure the growth of the plant. In this instance, doing nothing is doing something. This is wuwei, or non-doing. Wuwei does not always involve doing nothing. Just like growing a plant. You do not do absolutely nothing. Watering the plant, for instance, is doing something. The key point is you should not water too much or too little. Doing it just right! In this case, without excessive or wasted effort is non-doing. It applies to everything we do in life. If we can let nature take its course, things get done. If we go against it, little or nothing gets done, no matter how hard we try.

18.01.2022 The sacred is not the shining thing at the end of the journey awaiting disclosure; the sacred is the journey: the celebrated departure and tearful goodbyes, the... blue skies of optimism that dip in the welcoming horizons, the hint of grey in foreboding clouds, the obstacles that pepper the road with treacherous texture, the marauding doubts that steal your steps, the hallucinated masquerade that tortures your sleep, the glimpsed finish line, the exhausted arrival, and the morning after homecomings when the meaning of home needs to be reiterated again and again. One does not approach the sacred: the approach is the sacred. You might say then: well, why not just get to the point and say that the sacred is "everything"? Why go through the trouble of being specific? It is because to speak of "everything" is a lingusitic convenience that risks reinforcing the image of a static container world filled with static things with static properties. Such a world couldn't permit the sacred to exist. Instead the "world" we live with/in is so ecstatically indeterminate in its becoming, so relationally fluid, so processually entangled, so exceeding in its promiscuity, that one must often hesitate to name it, to think of it as a "world" with finished "things". And that there is the "sacred", the radical incompleteness that haunts "things" and engulfs them in a murmuration of becoming that is too complex for language to represent. The fugitivity of all bodies-in-their-ongoingness. The wound on heaven's flesh. 17.01.2022 Underneath the vivid storyline and rich, layered emotional landscape you may notice a subtle burning, a longing, a thread to connecting you to Life, to the cosm...os, to the stars. During those in-between moments of waking, sleep, and dream, it makes itself known as shepherd, companion, and ally. This movement can appear as somatic sensation in the body or energetically as the activity of psychic reorganization, where one world dissolves so that another may emerge. Something is calling, but we cant quite reach it by way of the known. In this space there is no resolution and there are no answers, but only endless reminders of how vast the question really is. For some, this experience is associated with profound melancholy, for others a physical ache in the heart, pulsation and energy in the belly or throat, or feelings of hopelessness, despair, joy, or bliss. There is a magnetic pull back Home, but it is not the home of what has come before. It is into your homeless nature, as a wanderer of the mystery. The pathway just cannot be seen with ordinary perception. For those who are attuned to this movement, it can appear within the subtle, imaginal body as an actual substance, a type of nectar come to seed new pathways, dissolving what you thought you knew about yourself, this world, intimacy, spirituality, and why youre here. A primordial drop of integration, symbolizing the union of what had previously become separated and disconnected. As you are able to stay embodied to the fires of reorganization which requires a fierce and active kindness to yourself and your entire inner ecology you will know the burning as a sacred friend, though at times a very wrathful one an old unmet part of you, of the earth, of the stars, not come to harm but to reveal. The burning is not an obstacle on your path but is the very path itself. As you surround it with holding and warmth, it will purify your heart and your connection with beings everywhere, so that you can be here fully, dance and play within the bounty that has been offered, and help others in creative, unexpected, and infinite ways. To stand up and assertively say No. To move i...n an empowered and swift way to protect our own integrity. To privilege our own autonomy and interiority. To meet narcissism, abuse, and neglect with a fiery, fierce, and direct response. This is not only the case with external others other people in our lives but also with the multitude of internal others who surge out of the psychic underworld and take form as voices and figures of the interior landscape. You might recognize them by their predictable refrain: There is something wrong with you. You have failed. No one will ever love you unless you change and become someone different. You are not okay. You have fallen short. You have done life wrong. You are no good. You are uninteresting. You do not belong. Your sensitivities and eccentricities are not welcome here. These are the voices of the past, the shadow of a culture of materialism and greed, of the lineages of transgenerational trauma and trance. The voices of disembodiment, insensitivity, of a societal and global ego that has fallen out of communion with the natural world, the body, and the imaginal realms. These internal visitors to an open, sensitive nervous system must also be met with the boundaries of discernment. To realize those moments when we fall out of the wisdom-presence of the here and now and into the time machine of the there and then. To engage in dialogue with these figures and to proclaim our own basic goodness. To stand on the rooftops and declare that sensitivity is not pathology, that the shaky tenderness is not pathology but path. To not merely accept their conclusions, reality tunnels, and the lenses through which they have come to see things. But to cleanse perception with clear-seeing and the wildness of love. To take the risk of telling a new story, dreaming a new dream, spinning out a new tale, weaving new cloth. 12.01.2022 Many of us are familiar with leaky gut syndrome, which happens not only physically, but also metaphorically - or alchemically - in the emotional or subtle bod...y when we are unable to process or digest certain forms of emotional experience. We all have a variety of strategies to take us out of particular feelings that we have come to associate with unsafety and dysregulation. What is similar about these strategies is that they are all rooted in the activity of disembodiment, and were incredibly intelligent, and adaptive; we might say they were early attempts at self-compassion. Empathic attunement and deeper layers of embodied companionship are remedies for the unfreezing, enlivening, metabolizing, integrating, and working through of emotional experience that has become frozen or embedded in the sensitive pathways. When we work through a complex, we digest its component pieces, which is an integrative, body-mind activity, occurring by way of the nutrients of awareness, clear-seeing, and compassion. The complex arrives as emotion in the body and narrative (left-brain) and image (right-brain) in the mind. By re-connecting, re-associating, or re-linking these pieces of soul together, we heal previously disconnected, disassociated, and de-linked parts of the psyche, thereby facilitating companionship at the deeper layers. Insight, clarity, and increased awareness are essential. But as many of us know they are not always sufficient. It does seem that some turning of the heart is required, for in the end it may only be love that has the power, beauty, and poetic grace to encode new circuitry and to untangle the wounds of a lifetime. We must each discover for ourselves in the fire or our own embodied alchemical vessel the nature of this love and what it is and its implications. It can only be known by way of direct revelation, by primary, first-person experience. It is there now, longing to be known: hidden inside the cell tissue of the heart, wired into miracle- synapses, and buried inside the star-matter that has created this body. 08.01.2022 THE SPIRAL OF GRIEF Grief is not something we get over by following pre-prescribed stages, but a partner that we dance, play, honor, argue, and weep with as ...the cycles unfold. Its appearance and the ways it longs to be tended are unique for each person. The timeline for this voyage is not knowable by the psychiatric community, nor by insurance panels or teachers of spirituality, but is birthed and unfolds within the open pathways of the holy human nervous system. To rush, force, or pathologize the experience of grief is to work against nature. The grieving process may not have an endpoint or state of completion in which we come to some final resolution, where we finish and land in some untouchable place, free from our embodied vulnerability, somatic aliveness, and from falling apart and breaking open yet again. For it is this alchemical rotation of vast cycles of rupture and repair that touch and open the human soul. While it may be tempting to hold some fantasied end state as a goal which we reach as we master life or learn endless new metaphysical theories, the heart is not interested in mastery. But in entering, playing, and unfolding the mystery in more subtle and sensitive ways. The heart itself is endless, and the visitors of grief may companion us in their various forms for a lifetime. They arrive not to harm, but to reveal a portal into wholeness, mercy, and luminosity. Shifting shapes, circulating, and rotating, as they open and close passageways in the landscape of the interior pathways. Remember the ancient Persian story, The Conference of the Birds' I've told you time and again? A huge flock of many kinds of birds of many colors lift off from earth to go seek across the many mountain ranges, the most beautiful of all birds, the One who had shed a golden feather in flight that floated to Earth. All the birds of Earth had gathered around it in awe. But as they rose up into the air as one moving being, to seek this wondrous bird, some, in the first storm, turned back. They had their reasons. And it was fine. Some in the first hail, took shelter, and then turned back. Some, seeing whatever event 'over there,' became distracted, and left the journey to pursue the 'that.' Other birds, for various reasons did not continue and it was all in the order of things. Yet the birds remaining flew and flew toward their destination, resting on ledges, then rising again... they helped each other, through injury, through fear, through hope rising, through climbing in altitude over the many mountains to seek the Great Creature. Until one evening, a little bedraggled, muddy, tired and sore, yet exhilarated, the flock of many colored birds found the home of The One high atop a particular Mountain. The One was so dazzling, the birds could barely see, but they knew they were in the presence of Immaculate Holiness. As they gathered around The One, gently asking questions about the shedding of the golden feather and how miraculous it all seemed, The One reminds the many birds that they have strived so hard and now is the time to reveal to them the secret of the golden feather. 'Look at yourself, can you not see, the golden feather is not just mine. You have one at the center within you too.' And the birds exclaimed amongst themselves, and they did indeed look within themselves. And there was the golden feather-- that which could not be seen until they had strove so, flexed and proved their great strength, made the challenging journey, with one another, and now the top of the mountain they were like a pillar of fire with all the birds golden feathers shining, shining like Fire, shining The Light, the Warmth of the Sun. ***************************************** Just this to say, do not let the duendes/whisperings or tauntings of negative complexes delay nor restrain nor make you turn aside from your intention to return to sturdy knowledge of your immense Birthright: Holy strength, Intense Light, Limitless Love and all the Gifts of the Holy Ghost that bring you/return you to full True Self with your five Holy Beings, fastening you to the most elemental truths about your life: that you are here on Earth with purpose, that you are needed, that you are meant to be. Here are several common duendes that ankle bite.. I call them second order duendes for they often appear after the first ones one is most used to, have been banished... Then come the second-stringers to see if one is really serious about return to True Self, or if one might still be prey/ food for that which has No Light, No Love. The remedio is the same; "¡Begone! Cabrones! Begone, there is nothing of you in me!" ***************************************** 1. Duendes that talk to one about how awful things are, how the world is in a constant groan, how terrible how unredeemable are any number of things, often your most cherished dreams. These duendes do not understand Calling, Commitment, Intention nor Focus. They hope to weaken you, take you from your quest. Don't engage. Don't ask 'Why are you here?' The lying sack of sh no-Light answer is always the same, some version of 'to help you face reality... You stupid selfish boy. You foolish, self centered girl.' But the real motives of such duendes are always the same, the true answer is: to eat your most cherished callings, to douse your dreams, to weaken your heart and your resolve to become and remain focused and strong-- so as to fulfill your calling, your creative works, your healing and helping ways straight from the Star Dust you were made from, that you came from. ***************************************** 2, Duendes that offer/ attack with entertaining thoughts of despair and/or helplessness, rage or pissy self-righteousness. {technical term]. Yet, when one places Greater at Center, THAT is so all -encompassing, there is no room for despair and other. That self-purification of the negative comes when one does not engage with duendes that only want to wreak havoc with your sense of your strength in this world, your effective action, your creativity, your solving of situations with effective solutions-- in both worlds. Place Greater at Center. Time and again. ***************************************** 3. Suggest if you hear/ feel these being intoned, you immediately suspect duendes in disguise: "What about-ism' --this used to diminish purpose by reminding time and again the world is brutal and 'other events' 'over there' ought be focused on outside one's reach while ignoring what is right before one, to aid and to assist. That kind of duende who points out harms outside one's reach, while the harms one can be effective with/toward are right under one' nose..is the duende's wish to force one into incessant helplessness and lamentation, thus not only dousing effective helps one can give within one's reach, but also stealing joy, which, listen to me, Joy is a form of life-giving STRENGTH. Lies by saying the immense and incredible Beauty of this world is no balance nor help, no calming and strengthening remedio, that persons of decency and huge heart are no remedio to this one or ten or hundred things not yet made better. This is, in ancient times called acedia, a Latin word meaning refusal to en-Joy what Greater has given to us. Don't go there. That attitude is poison for your Child-Spirit especially. The clue that duendes may be present, is being focussed on 'but what about' things 'over there' you can do nothing about. The giveaway is the duendes prefer that humans feel helpless. That is a feast for the duendes, for the vapid and rancid dark they prefer. The remedios is the same Do not engage. Not even for an instant. "¡Begone! Cabrones! Begone, there is nothing of you in me!" ***************************************** I grew up in family who lived in tiny integrated neighborhoods, not by law, but by poverty. Mainly war refugees, Chicano and African American, Native American and souls from Appalachia who worked the fields and on the Line: factory assembly lines. We feted at each other's weddings and wept at each other's' funerals. The many sad funerals have stayed with me all my life. One in point: African American neighbors of my grandmother, the old women and old men traded homemade pastries and tools, told jokes that made everyone cry tears... A fight had broken out at the street corner. One of our young young men was shot to death by anther young man. It was like we all died. For the beautiful young man who was killed, I styled/ 'did' his hair when i was a hairdresser, his beautiful hair like the bottom of an inky ocean in closely spaced sparkling black-sand waves. Now he was in a coffin. I though it would kill us all. The other young man, the mother's dear son of another neighbor, was in jail. It couldnt be more brutal to have two deeply mourning mothers and fathers and entire families from the road all walking through a hell that felt to us like there were no doorways out. At the funeral, the soul who was the fiancé was in earthquakes of grief, lurching about, needing to be held back or down or somehow loved right this minute. The power of right-this-minute love. The mother in her long black face veil, seated and sobbing throughout. Tended to and touched by many hands. And the old old grandmother sitting in a stuffed upholstered chair brought in special from the funeral parlour, she looking like an ancient African Queen in sad but giant Dignity. Not weeping. Just breathing. Just Being True to her own immense natal Force. I never forgot. Her, not resignation, but the Knowing of the grandmother, with certainty what stance she would choose--that this too was life and death on Planet Earth, that this was beyond horror, but that we would survive each in our own half-mended, half-broken way, that we would regain our shine somehow, someday. She held everyone together not with words. but with her beatifically calm Being. I would say same to you. There are many ways to be a Being. And as we mature in knowing the Worlds, we find, often, the place not only of calm divinity, but the place that holds others above the headwaters, that is, to choose calm, to sit in the old upholstered chair and just tenderly but with immense strength from Greater, hold this broken and beauteous world in an ever-loving embrace. An irrevocable Love, filled with immense Light. That, that is a Being who not only answers the Call, but becomes the Call for others to find those interstices too. That place between the worlds, the calm eye of the whirlwind, sharing in sight of each world equally. ***************************************** Have you ever considered that the term 'fallen angel' doesn't mean some bad angel who went rogue, rather an angelic force from the stars, who has forgotten Birthright, origins, their great powers, their Gifts in both worlds? Do not fall away from us unless you need to, my angels. Stay here at base camp on the side of the mountain if/ as you can. Continue the journey onward with all of us. There is no 'perfect' to it. Just be. You are loved by Greater. I can promise you. As star dust knows star dust, as relatives from the far way who share in the love of Greater, you are loved... and everything and everyone of good will in the universe, agreed upon by the Soul, including the 'far away,' wants you to do well and remember your essential purity, your holiness, your sweetness, your Mission of Light and of Love, and your profound strengths to gain, regain and unleash all you came eternally provisioned with here on Earth. For it is you allowing them to give you that bondage. You want them to come to you from a place of love, you want them to understand they will only understand when they see the example. Ours is not the task of fixing the entire world all at once, but of stretching out to mend the part of the world that is within our reach. Any small, calm thing that one soul can do to help another soul, to assist some portion of this poor suffering world, will help immensely. It is not given to us to know which acts or by whom, will cause the critical mass to tip toward an enduring good. What is needed for dramatic change is an accumulation of acts, adding, adding to, adding more, continuing. We know that it does not take everyone on Earth to bring justice and peace, but only a small, determined group who will not give up during the first, second, or hundredth gale. One of the most calming and powerful actions you can do to intervene in a stormy world is to stand up and show your soul. Soul on deck shines like gold in dark times. The light of the soul throws sparks, can send up flares, builds signal fires, causes proper matters to catch fire. To display the lantern of soul in shadowy times like these -- to be fierce and to show mercy toward others; both are acts of immense bravery and greatest necessity. Struggling souls catch light from other souls who are fully lit and willing to show it. If you would help to calm the tumult, this is one of the strongest things you can do. There will always be times when you feel discouraged. I too have felt despair many times in my life, but I do not keep a chair for it. I will not entertain it.
