08.01.2022 WWHS Boys 14’s cricket team played at Warialda this week. After losing the toss and beginning the game fielding, the boys toiled hard. James Williams was the p...ick of the bowlers, keeping the scoring rate down, picking up a wicket and fielding brilliantly. Noah Mace and Kyne Allen got two wickets each. Warialda however finished on an imposing 209. The boys were brave when they went out to bat. We had an inexperienced team but they fought hard, in the end they were bowled out for 72. Kyne Allen top scored with 12. Warialda were just too good on a long, hot day, the boys should be proud of themselves for giving it a go!
