Once you’ve done an audit on your wardrobe & established what basic essential items you have & are keeping, try everything on then ask yourself these questions - Does it fit well? Do I feel great when I put it on?... Is the quality still good? If no, make a shopping list ... Put a mood board together or just create an album of looks & colours that you like. 24.01.2022 Layering is key when we are transitioning between seasons. Actually I find pretty much 80% of the year layering is necessary if you live in Melbourne!! Here’s some spring trench coat inspiration.. We’re seeing a lot of beautiful pastels coming through this season think buttery yellow, lilac, powder blue, soft pink... The soft trench coat is a great layering & easy transeasonal piece to add to your wardrobe.. The flowing lines make this style of trench less structured to creat...e a more feminine look... 24.01.2022 Me at the start of September, me 7 days in... It’s funny though as a parent I often talk to my girls about resilience, how important it is to recover in difficult times. Well, it’s so much harder to practise what you preach hey?! I tell my daughters you don’t just wake up resilient you have to choose it... When things are tough that’s an opportunity for you to strengthen that muscle... Well for us Victorian’s we have a big opportunity to work that resilient muscle... It’s... challenging.. I’d by lying if I didn’t say I’m feeling flat & sad about the announcement yesterday, but how am I going to choose to respond.. What do I want to model for my girls? I want to model resilience. I also want to model kindness in times like these. I want to be real too. It’s hard. I miss styling in person & working in store, I miss my family & I can feel overwhelmed at times. I want my girls to see the journey but mainly to see kindness, respect & most importantly resilience! Hang in there Victoria. We will get through this. Let’s be kind & supportive of each other. We need it more now than ever!! See more

(co-ord is basically matching top & bottoms) There are so many options out there and so many beautiful colours from soft pastels to bright oranges & pinks... I think they’re a great investment & so versatile... I get so much wear from my @elliatt suit... It brightens my mood & brings a smile to my face... I always get comments anytime I wear the blazer or pants. On days when I want t...o be seen & stand out in the crowd this fuschia colour really makes a statement! If you’re not so keen on standing out a beautiful neutral suit could be a great option... Why not invest in a short & blazer co ord set?! A nice tailored short will elevate your summer wardrobe... 12.01.2022 A white shirt and jeans.. The basics of every wardrobe Spring is a great time to pivot from your winter wardrobe to your spring/summer wardrobe.. New seasons collections are dropping in store now so you want to get as much wear out of them as possible, especially once we’re free to leave the house!! Now is the best time to really edit your wardrobe & find the gaps before you shop. Do a check list of the basics you currently have.. eg do you have - a good pair of jeans, a white shirt, nice tees, a blazer, a denim jacket, possibly a trench or light weight jacket & knit top, long sleeve tops, a pleat skirt, A-line or slip skirt, an easy throw on spring/summer dress etc Obviously this list will vary depending on your personality & style but this is a good place to start

10.01.2022 The before & after pictures from yesterday’s igtv... It’s the simple things, the attention to detail, that create a more put together look when you are getting dressed in the morning... Can you see the difference to the shape of my body from the first to the the middle picture? (The last pic was just for fun ) Notice how my legs look longer & your eye is drawn to my waist? The tuck in creates the shape and by pushing up my sleeves your eye is moves to my wrists & waist.. A...dd a belt & a handbag if you want to take it up another level.. Geez it’s been weeks since I’ve used a handbag It’s really not hard to do but these simple tricks will add the finishing touches to any outfit... Why not try it on your supermarket run today?!

08.01.2022 A few looks from yesterday’s wardrobe essentials - jacket edition I must say I really enjoyed getting dressed up & throwing an outfit together... Wearing shoes other than runners was so nice.. I forgot how great a heel feels.. I’ve really missed expressing myself through my outfits this year. Whilst I love being comfy in trackies I’ve genuinely missed choosing what part of me I want to reveal through my outfits... Feminine, Edgy, Classic, Fun, Professional.. ... Clothing is like armour to me... When I put an outfit together that reflects how I feel & it just works, I love the confidence that comes with that! It’s why I love what I do.. Helping people find that confidence through clothes that feel authentic to their style is what I love! Witnessing the confidence that comes from dressing to their body shape & lifestyle is just simply the best feeling. It’s such a privilege to go on that journey with clients.. 01.01.2022 Today I just wanted to highlight the easiest tricks you can do to just add interest & detail to a very basic outfit.... We all need to get dressed in the morning (well not so much lately) but whether it’s putting on trackies or jeans the same amount of effort is required. So why not try that little bit extra, a tuck, a roll, accessories... You’d be surprised how a plain top & jeans can look that little more polished without too much effort... Well, let’s be real, looking effortless generally takes a little effort.. but not much as you can see in my video...
