25.01.2022 Ever wondered how long it takes a good mechanic to build a bike from a bare frame? Well unfortunately we don't actually know how long it takes a good mechanic but Craig can do it in about 25 minutes. And basic maintenance workshops are back! Next one is Wednesday the 9th of June at 6pm. Will run for about 1.5 hours. While it is free please message us if you are coming as places are limited.

19.01.2022 There seems to be a lot of confusion around what businesses are closed at the moment. The list of closed businesses is an in inclusive list. If the type of business is not listed it will be Open (unless closed by the owner.) Businesses that are partially closed Restaurants - open for takeout / delivery... Cafes - open for takeout Fully closed Pubs Churches Cinemas Indoor sporting facilities including gyms Entertainment facilities Thats it. Everything else is trading! Please get out there (whilst following the guidelines of distancing) and keep spending money if you can. All the small businesses need every cent they can get at the moment.

14.01.2022 We try and avoid sending out requests for causes on our page. But this is an issue very close to our heart. After losing our house to the 2013 fires the situation currently faced by large swathes of Australia is incredibly concerning.

13.01.2022 When anyone buys a bike lock from us we always ask where are you using it? Not all locks are created equal and it really doesnt take much for a determined thief to even to get through a good solid lock if your bike is in a place where they wont be disturbed. Whats the moral of the story just thought it'd make for an interesting video. Also always think about how and where you are securing your bike.

11.01.2022 Hey y'all! Just a heads up to let you know we will be shut this public holiday Monday for some much needed R&R. Business as usual resumes Tuesday 10am. We'll also be shutting up at 1:40 today as Craig has some sort of birthday soirée to attend. We're very suspicious of this as we always assumed he was the result of a botched lab experiment but hey, you learn something new every day.... Seriously though, if anyone has found themselves victim of the great bog roll shortage of 2020 feel free to swing past and grab a roll or two. No charge, just pass on some kindness to someone else. *We will have to launch them at you in some sort of American football or AFL punt style arrangement. This is due to social distancing requirements and not at all for our own entertainment.

10.01.2022 Yes we are open and trading as usual. We have however implemented a few things to keep our customers and staff safe and do our best reduce the spread of COVID-19. We have a small bottle of hand sanitiser next to the front door. Please use it as you come into the shop. We are no longer accepting cash. Card only please, preferably contactless. All high traffic and critical areas such as our eftpos terminal are being disinfected several times a day.... All staff are washing their hands before and after any services. Please practice social distancing while in the store. Admittedly people have been keeping a healthy distance from Craig for years now but thats just because hes weird and smells funny. Please continue to practice this. 01.01.2022 A quick update from us. As you probably all know bicycling has gone crazy during the last few months, Trek alone was up 400% in bike sales in April from what we have heard this is the same across all brands. This unfortunately means we only have 2 adult bikes in stock for sale. Kids bikes are a bit better but not great. New stock is on the way but due to the unprecedented demand it is coming through in dribs and drabs over the next few months. This is for all bikes in the sub... $2000 categories. If you are after a bike in this price range we highly recommend getting in touch with us and putting down a deposit so you can secure one of the ones coming as they are selling fast, we have 40+ due between now and August but they will sell out so get in quick! Current ETAs for unsold stock with Trek is end of September. Servicing - we are going nuts pumping through services, infact our shop looks full because of the number of services we have in. We are operating at a slightly longer turn around of roughly 2days with a few being a bit longer. But please feel free to come and get your bike fixed up.
