20.01.2022 Yesterday I installed this 'Catch Power' hot water diverter on my house. I have been monitoring my hot water usage for the last month and I average 10kwh per day for hot water. I also feed around 20kwh of solar back into the grid on average. The idea is that my excess solar power will heat my hot water before going back to the grid. STAY TUNED TO SEE HOW IT GOES!!!

09.01.2022 A neat AC coupled off grid setup installed on a shed earlier this year with 30 x 290w Canadian panels feeding a Fronius 8.2kw grid connect inverter (becomes a battery charger in an off grid install) an Australian made Selectronic 7.5kw off grid inverter and 3 Power Plus 3kwh lithium batteries with the option of putting in another 3 in the cabinet once the house is finished being built.

07.01.2022 This is a prime example why you should use a local solar installer/company. This is an email below that I just received from a national solar company who were obviously in the area or door knocking and installed a cheap solar system. Now they are emailing whoever they can to get to fix it because they are not from around here. The problem is that if no one wants to fix someone else's system or are too busy doing their own work then you are left without a working system someti...mes as long as 12 months. The 2nd problem is that half the time you go to these jobs you find a fair few issues that need to be fixed to get the system up to standard. . . . .
