19.01.2022 Hello members. Last night the committee meet to arrange pre-season, registration, programs and the outstanding 2019 presentation. On Monday the 10th August registration will open through the website. Initial Registration will be via a goggle form expressing your intent/interest to play in the 20/21 season. This will assist the committee in any future decision that will affect teams, coaches, total members. I can advise the following fee structure for the upcoming season. (...Dramatically Reduces rates) Batter up - from 125 to 75 Sub junior - from 200 to 125 Junior - from 225 to 150 Seniors - from 250 to 200. Keep in mind active kids vouchers for school aged kids also reduce your fees. Any further reductions will be considered on application to the Committee. Our goal is to get as many players back and absorb some of the cost as a club. Any player selected in the u14s, u16s, u18s, Reps teams or playing in the Waratah or state league competitions need to register immediately (through the website) to ensure your coveted (insurance) to play. Next committee meeting the 26th. Anyone is free to join (zoom) meeting.

12.01.2022 Congratulations to our umpires that represent NRSC. Out of 7 blues in training that achieved their level 1 status this year, four of these were from our club. Congrats Dee Dee, Emma, Mackenzie and Indiah. Out of 3 perpetual awards for umpiring, 2 went to NRSC. Congrats to Dee Dee for being awarded the Jr Blue encouragement award and Indiah for being awarded the blues in training award. North Rocks was also recognised as the club that had the most representatives umpiring this season again this year.

01.01.2022 The Regional Academies of Sport in conjunction with event host, Hunter Academy of Sport, regret to advise that under the Australian Government COVID-19 directiv...e restricting all public gatherings of more than 500 people, the 2020 Your Local Club Academy Games has been cancelled. This includes the associated basketball tournament that had previously been moved to June. The health and welfare of our athletes, families and staff is always our number one priority. Due to the escalating impact of the COVID-19 and the uncertainty surrounding the rapidly changing situation, the Regional Academies made the difficult collective decision to cancel its showcase annual event planned for the Hunter Region on April 3rd-5th 2020. We would like to acknowledge our long-term partners, the Office of Sport and Your local club, for their continued support. Special thanks should also go to our regional partners for this years event including City of Newcastle Lake Macquarie City Council, Newcastle Herald and NBN Television.
