24.01.2022 Our Christmas Party 2019

24.01.2022 Congratulations to our C team (Jerry, Billy (Purvez), Jimmy) for winning Division 3 this spring season. They kept the upper hand over Macquarie Unis team MacForce. It looked like a thrilling evening at first as after 5 games the score was 3:2, but a record of 100% out of the remaining 4 games established a convincing 7:2 victory. Well done guys! Enjoy your well deserved summer break.

16.01.2022 Christmas party 2018

13.01.2022 Last round in Div 1 and the Amigos (Ian and Bjrn) were facing Hornsby Red. Hornsby forfeited two of their singles which gave us a 2:0 lead right from the start and after only one hour and Bjoern winning his single they left as winners for the 8th time (out of 10 matches) in this seasons round robin comp. Now, the Amigos are either facing NamHo or again Hornsby Red in the semi finals.

12.01.2022 Final Stop Semifinal! Our Div 1 team (Elvis (Karva) & Bjrn) played their semi final last Friday night against a very strong Nam Ho 1 team. Karva managed to win the first single against Alan Yeung, but unfortunately this remained the only success on that night. After Bjoern lost his two singles and Karva lost his second single against Hayden Chan, the teams dream of winning a trophy in division 1 eventually came to an end. Nevertheless it was a great season and were looking forward to the new season in autumn after a well-deserved summer break.

09.01.2022 Earlier in the week our D team (Arthur, Jeff, Anthony) achieved a final 9-0 victory over MacForce in this spring Div 3 comp finishing only 3 points behind the fourth place and therefore only just missing the qualification for the finals. Nevertheless, the team can proudly look back to a successful season in Div 3. Well done guys, and enjoy the summer break!

07.01.2022 Our B team (Rui, Andrew, Sal) finished the autumn comp strongly with a 6-3 victory over Forestville Spartans in particular thanks to a strong performance by Andrew in the singles, by all three players in the doubles and with Rui developing a new fencing style play ;-) Currently the team is ranking 4th, however this will unfortunately very likely not be enough to qualify for the finals as HRSL Gold is only one point behind and has one more game to play. Nevertheless, the team can be proud of themselves to have reached a midfield position in a comp that seems to grow stronger every year. Well done guys and enjoy your well deserved summer break!

06.01.2022 SNDTTA autumn season has started- Div1

05.01.2022 Closed Club Comp 2016!!! After a long day of table tennis to identify the club champion of the year, everybody agreed that Fabian more than deserved this title in both the single and double (with Bjrn) competition. In the singles comp Fabian beat Paul in the final after struggling in a five set marathon in the semi final against Magic Billy (Purvez), whose magic was not enough to get him into the finals after his phenomenal performance on that day. In the other semi final, Paul beat Iraj. By the time the doubles comp started, everybody was already exhausted and happy to cut the comp short by starting with the knockout phase right away. However, in the final Billy and Jerry forced Fabian and Bjoern into the fifth set where in the end Fabian and Bjoern where a bit more lucky and able to secure the doubles victory.

05.01.2022 Another victory (4:1) for our newly formed Div 1 team, NSL Amigos, this time with Fabian and Karva (Elvis) and against MacUni. With only one lost set across the four singles they left no doubt who will leave the venue as the winner today. One more game and then we will aim for the crown in Div 1 in the finals.

04.01.2022 Great victory against two Macquarie University teams in 4 days! After defeating MacForce (rank 3) with 7:2 last Friday, NSL C (Jerry, Billy and Jimmy) have also smashed MacAction (rank 2) with 8:1 on Monday. Now theyve locked down rank 2 and successfully qualified for the semi-finals. There is still one more match to play next week, the deferred match against SUNS C from round 3 and our heroes aim for another convincing victory and for the top position.

03.01.2022 On Wednesday, our D team with Arthur, Jeff and Boris had to play Cherrybrook Zhendong. The team from Cherrybrook ranks just one place behind our D team with only 3 points less. Our team started off poorly losing the first four games, but thanks to an amazing come-back, they managed to turn it into a 5-4 victory on the night. The games score was 20:19 to Cherrybrook. They had 5 matches going to 5 sets showing that the two teams were evenly matched. Hopefully, they can maintain their 5th place ranking for this comp with one more match to play, coming Tuesday against MacForce, another team ranking almost equally as our D team and therefore promising another tight match. 03.01.2022 On Friday, three North teams had to share the home venue. The A team (Paul & Bjrn) took on SUNS K and after Pauls two 4-set victories and Bjoerns first Premier Division win remained on top with a 3-2 victory. The second team, the Amigos (Fabian & Karva (Elvis)) also won their game against Hornsby Blue in Division 1, thanks to a strong as usual Fabian who again improved his record to 10 wins out of 10, ranking top of the division and further emphasizing his claim to get promoted to Premier Division next season. The third team playing tonight was our C team (Jerry, Jimmy, Billy & Federico) launching another attack on the pole position in Division 3 with a convincing 7-2 victory over MacForce keeping the chance to move up to the top rank in the last game against MacAction this Monday - good luck guys!
