22.01.2022 In early April 2019 work commenced on Qantas Founders Museum’s $14.3 million Airpark Roof Project. This ambitious two stage project will create a unique night e...xperience using light and sound show technology projected onto the fuselage of the iconic Boeing 747, Boeing 707, Super constellation aircraft and 8072 metre squared roof. Stage One of the project includes the construction of a 8072 square metre roof and lighting for night tours, footpaths, landscaping and fencing. Once completed the roof will provide protection to the Museum's visitors and aircraft during the day and provide an all weather venue for the expanded visitor experiences. Stage One is fully funded by the Australian Government as a Community Development Grants Project. Stage Two of the project include a state of the art light and sound show night experience, the only one of its kind in Queensland, and the construction of a 9 metre high viewing platform and lift. 18.01.2022 Max Clayton of Hutchinson Builders is sharing his last spectacular photos on Instagram as the crane prepares to come down from Skytower. The top two floors of Skytower are being finalised, and Hutchinson Builders cannot use the crane to lift items above the top floor as the crane would be taller than the 274.3 m high aviation restrictions. We’ve enjoyed following Max’s time at Skytower, and you too can experience magical views if you register for a tour of Skytower during the... Brisbane Open House Weekend on the 13th and 14th October. The theme this year was ‘Housing for all’, so with that in mind we’d like to share a few facts about the 90-storey Brisbane landmark building Skytower. - It’s the biggest residential building in the Southern Hemisphere ... - There are 1141 apartments in the building, which is the highest number of apartments in any single building in Australia - Each level has a typical floor plate of 1,400m2 - Skytower provides a sustainable approach to urban living with four separate vertical villages. It has the ability to house more than 3000 people - that is approximately one person for one square metre - It is the first building in Brisbane constructed to the maximum height permitted by Australian aviation authorities See more

14.01.2022 #Repost @jenniferat58 with @get_repost I was lucky enough to get a place on the Igers Brisbane Instameet at Skytower on Margaret Street in the city. This shot is taken from the 86th floor, which is still being completed. Interestingly, the building has be opened in stages while construction continues. Skytower will be completed next year and is Brisbane’s tallest building at 274m with 90 stories. There will be 1141 apartments and if you can afford one, the views are amazing.
