We may see the monsoon trough show to the North East around the So...lomon Sea in the next week or so. The SOI should peak in 5 weeks with the MJO in 5 weeks by the time it reaches region 7. With that the stats are good for rain North of Mackay and may include Townsville. So around the week starting the 13th Dec peaking sometime that week or towards the end of that week.
