25.01.2022 Eleni from OCCF is having a fundraising garage sale on Saturday 15th February from 7am to 2pm. The address is on the pic. All the proceeds will go to OCCF to provide much-needed therapeutic massages to the children living with disabilities and long-term illness. The cost of these treatments for the children is too expensive for many parents to pay. The trained therapists on the OCCF team provide these massages to the children at no cost to the families. Come along to the gar...age sale and see if there’s a bargain for you. If you have items that you would like to donate to the Foundation that can be sold at the garage sale, send a PM to Eleni Seitis.

25.01.2022 I had the pleasure to performing a Pediatric Myotherapy Massage on this young woman, Jaz. This is the massage service that the therapists of Oasis Children and ...Community Foundation (OCCF) offer to children with disabilities and chronic illnesses in Australia. Jaz became very relaxed soon into the massage. She was displaying clonus of the feet (uncontrolled movements) when they were touched and lifted. After the massage, this either disappeared completely or diminished significantly. I showed her Mum and carer how to do the simple techniques for maximum effect. They were pleasantly surprised by the swiftness of the body’s response to the executed moves. Oasis Children and Community Foundation (OCCF) invites you to join with two of the OCCF therapists, Eleni Seitis and Cee Cee (Catherine Christoforatus), to our introductory free workshop about the charitable work that OCCF offers children living with disabilities and chronic illnesses. We will also demonstrate some of the fundamental massage techniques we use on children and how complementing Essential Oils with massage enhances the overall beneficial effects. This free workshop will be held at Garden City Library Meeting Room, Upper Mount Gravatt Shopping Centre, at 12.30 - 2.30pm on Saturday 18th January, 2020. To register your interest to attend, click on the link below. I welcome questions and feedback. https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/occf-pediatric-massage-intr

20.01.2022 Adrian Pon and I had a great catch up today. He shared with me his insights about marketing for my not-for-profit organisation, Oasis Children and Community Foundation (https://OCCF.org.au).

19.01.2022 It was awesome to share massage techniques to use on children with disabilities and chronic illnesses with this group. This is the first talk I did for Oasis Ch...ildren and Community Foundation (OCCF). I am grateful to Cee Cee for sharing about Doterra oils and how using them in conjunction with the massages can increase the benefits to the children. I will be holding more workshops to bring awareness to people about the great work that we’re doing for the children. The massage treatments that professional therapists perform on the children are a free service. I’d love to share these massage techniques with you at our next workshop. If you’d like to make a donation to the Foundation, visit our website. https://OCCF.org.au See more

15.01.2022 A Foundation that offers an Oasis of hope in the desert of disability. The Oasis Children and Community Foundation (OCCF) is a not-for profit organisation offering complementary therapy and medicine to children with disabilities and chronic illnesses in Australia and overseas. Children with disabilities and chronic illnesses have many and varied health challenges, such as a lack of mobility and flexibility in their bodies, decreased cognitive abilities, physical deformities l...imiting optimal function, and bodily systems dysfunction. Often the families of these children have little money to pay for the treatments their children require. Oasis Children and Community Foundation offers natural complementary therapies free of charge to these children to help them improve these health challenges. When the children of the world are given the capacity to live at their fullest potential, they can then help others. The Oasis Children and Community Foundation aims to work with the world’s children to break the cycles of sickness and poverty that are so rife, to change the world for the generations to come.
