24.01.2022 **UPDATE**: With the new restrictions lifting shortly, we have been advised from various hospitals of the lifting of the elective surgery pause. We are planning on resuming all normal activities from Monday - for our patients that have had their surgeries cancelled, we will contact you directly to make alternative arrangements. For all surgeries booked for the following weeks, there will be no change, unless further directives come from SA Health. The shut down procedure of our elective surgery cases recently was confirmed today during the national directive. 07.01.2022 Arthritis of the shoulder can be caused by one of many things, including osteoarthritis or 'wear-and-tear', massive rotator cuff tears and previous trauma to the shoulder. Management of the arthritic shoulder usually consists of simple analgesia, physiotherapy and occasional injections.
