21.01.2022 Kaya everyone I attended the Vigil today for Annaleisse. The family are pushing to have Annaleisse Law put in place, this would stop child sex offenders from being allowed bail. This would be a step towards ensuring the safety and emotional and psychological well being of our children.... Tomorrow at 11am I will speak to Mervyn Eades and Corina Abraham on the circumstances and what's next. #ourvoices #noongarradio

20.01.2022 Kaya Today I had the pleasure of chatting with Hon Robin Chapple about 'Gag Orders' that some First Nations groups have placed on them through clauses with mining companies and corporations. Little was known about this, but since Juukan Gorge it is becoming clear that they exist, Hon Robin Chapple stated that he felt the Federal Govt needed to have a Royal Commission into the conduct of corporations and their dealings with First Nations people, as these 'Gag Orders' dis-empo...wer the First Nations people when they wish to speak on issues effecting Country. 01.01.2022 Kaya everyone More scenes from the Vigil for Justice for Annaleisse. We as a community need to stamp out the bad behaviour, we need to speak up for our children, we need to stop the intergenerational trauma that plagues our people. We need to help push for the Annaleisse Law to be made a reality in WA, let's make sure that Child sex offenders don't have an opportunity to be granted bail and don't have their freedom until they have been proven innocent in a court of law. This will ensure our children both black, white and brindle are safe in our community. #ourvoices #noongarradio #justiceforannaleisse #annaleisselaw
