25.01.2022 Have you joined the ABR Ladies Club? We have now over 150 members! Get the Girls together, and experience the THRILL of owning your very own racehorse! ... With the success of the ABR 100 Club and the ABR Club 2.0, we thought it was time to give the Ladies a club of their own! Partnering with SA leading female driver Dani Hill, we will be looking to purchase a filly or mare ready to race, who Dani will drive. To join, it is a $100 one-off fee with no further costs! There will be no training fee, and the Club will collect 50% of the prize money won. As a member, you will receive horse updates from trainer Aaron Bain and driver Dani Hill, Social Events, and the thrill of owning your own racehorse! Interesting? Contact us today to secure your spot! 0438 184 802 [email protected] www.aaronbainracing.com.au

23.01.2022 The Harness Racing Club receives a percentage of betting turnover placed on course. You can support your club by ditching the technology and placing your bets with the onsite TAB van or any on course bookmaker!

19.01.2022 Unfortunately we won't be having a race meeting on the 31st of May, but the committee will be meeting on Monday 8th of June(subject to any restrictions)and will go "Live" on Facebook to draw our major raffle. The club will start collecting all raffle books in the community but if you would like to purchase any tickets let me know and I'll organise it. Good Luck! Thanks Jo

18.01.2022 UPDATE: As Monday is a public holiday the live draw of major raffle will be on Tuesday the 9th at ~ 7.30pm. Still time to pick up some tickets. Thanks Jo

15.01.2022 Please read information regarding those racing in Ouyen on Sunday.

14.01.2022 Thanks to everyone that was able to come and be a part of our cup today. It was disappointing to not have a crowd there but everyone seemed to make the best of it and have a good day. Thanks to those who purchased raffle tickets, it will be drawn at our May 31st meeting but if that can't happen we will keep everyone updated. Thanks Ouyen Harness Racing Club Committee

10.01.2022 Deeply saddened today to hear of the sudden death of Mallee Reactor. Thoroughly enjoyed watching him race during his short but impressive career. Condolences to all his owners and connections.

10.01.2022 Free entry tomorrow , first race 12.24pm. Food and beverages available.

09.01.2022 There are some great stories of revival in the Mallee. And the tale of the Ouyen Harness Racing Club, which we’ve featured in our book, is a beauty. Erin Jonasson Sultana Girl https://tenbagpress.com.au/product/the-mallee/

09.01.2022 As predicted things have changed again slightly. We are unable to change our cup meeting to May 31st, however we will be running our promotional activities on that day. We will re evaluate if the situation remains the same come May. For our race sponsors, rugs will be awarded to your race winners on Sunday but you will not be charged for your sponsorship, but we do hope that you can jump back onboard next year when hopefully the situation has returned to normal. Our meetin...g on Sunday will be closed to the general public and will be run with LICENSED PARTICIPANTS WITH A HORSE ENGAGED (Trainers, Drivers, Stable Hands only) and ESSENTIAL STAFF only. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS under any circumstance as per the directive we have been given by Harness Racing Victoria (HRV). We are very sorry the public are being excluded, the situation is out of our control and hope the community can continue to support the Ouyen Harness Racing Club. Thanks
