It is a day for Police to pause to honour officers whose lives have been cut short while performing their duty as a police officer. 23.01.2022 Hi All - Just a friendly reminder there is to be NO SMOKING out the front of our club. With lots of children around it is our duty of care and to enforce this policy at our club and clubs across NSW. It's actually against the law to smoke in all spectator areas of organised sporting events/training sessions in NSW.... The ban applies even if you're in an open-air area and a $300 fine may apply.

This report outlines another great year for PCYC NSW and we are very proud to show you the hard work that went into delivering the educational, multicultural, vocational, sport, recreation, social justice and crime prevention programs and activities across 64 clubs. During the year, we changed the lives of thousands of young people and marked the first anniversary of the NSW Police Commissioner's RISEUP strategy. Providing opportunities ...for young people to flourish has resulted in significant reductions in youth crime and anti-social behaviour across the state. 14.01.2022 Leaving school is a transition into adulthood that is especially tough right now. School leavers face a 14.5% youth unemployment rate. Entry-level jobs normally filled by young people are no longer available. PCYC NSW recognises the vulnerability of our youth, and that some need extra support. Together with NSW Police Force we are working hard to provide programs that make a real, practical difference. Kirsty was having some troubles in her life before she was referred to PCY...C NSW's Fit For Work program. She saw the program as a fresh start, a chance to re-set and imagine a different future. Now Kirsty is a valued member of staff at Bunnings Warehouse Australia and is focused on saving for a car.
