24.01.2022 On the harder well compacted ground we had to drill pilot holes - a bit of a nuisance but worth it to get a good secure camp.

22.01.2022 The calm before the storm, and the result of a pretty wet day here at Coles Bay, but we were still able to have a camp fire.

21.01.2022 This is our last camp spot tip for you from our Summer Holiday Giveaway participants! This beautiful spot is at the Northern Edge of Rudall River National Park at Pilbara, WA. It is between the Little Sandy and Great Sandy Deserts.

20.01.2022 It's been a day or two since the last train chuffed through Mole Creek in Tassie, but another great day

20.01.2022 Ops ! My editor (herself) has reminded me it was Broken Hill after we had been in Cobar !!

20.01.2022 One of our last Tassie views - Liffy Falls, yet another magic spot

19.01.2022 This is a photo from the Devils Marbles which are around 390km up north from Alice Springs in the Northern Territory. Definitely a 'Must-see' when passing by!!! Have you ever been? 17.01.2022 There are some times that even a Peggy peg just won't go where you want it, like into solid concrete

17.01.2022 EXCITING NEWS!! - WE ARE BACK! We are very happy to announce that Peggy Peg Australia can continue to have its doors open!!! We came around and negotiated a deal with the new head office! We are happy that our step down does not mean a full closure of our business we have built over the last years with a lot of passion. On the photo you can see our remaining stock which we brought to the new warehouse. Thus, we are currently in the process of moving our warehouses and expec...ting new orders to arrive from our German head office very soon! After having troubles with the Covid situation and delivery chain interruption it might only take a few more days before we are restocked and can get back to the many requests for products but especially Starter Kits! So you just gotta be a little more patient and thank you for your loyalty. We hope you are just as excited as us about this info! Cheers.

17.01.2022 Don’t let your holiday get ruined (especially these days) by not securing your camping gear! Get your Starterkit from Peggy Peg today! https://peggypeg.com.au/product/starter-kit/ Don’t know what suits your gear best ?! let us know and we will advise you!

17.01.2022 I found that in windy conditions my bungee on the draft skirt can 'rattle' out of the blue rope clips, so I looped a ladder through the loop and pegged both ends of the ladder with the normal plastic Peggy Peg as per this photo. We were in Cosy Corner North on the Bay of Fires . . . Apparently so named because the first explorers saw so many Aborigine camp fires as they sailed past.

11.01.2022 Beat that for a nice WA sunset (Kununurra)

10.01.2022 Have you ever wondered what the rings at the top part of our pegs are there for? Don't worry! We explain everything you need to know...

10.01.2022 Safely and sadly back from great 10 weeks in Tassie, and at Stanton's Bend heading g north a few days ago, next stop Ningaloo to meet up with some of the AWD club of Sydney travellers

09.01.2022 We visited the Remarkable Cave south of Port Arthur and were lucky to catch it between showers . The cave really lived up to its name as it displayed the map of Tasmania against a background of the blue water and white surf

08.01.2022 We are frequently asked how the pegs go in stoney ground, this video shows how we got on in Karijini National Park (a truly magic spot)

07.01.2022 Merry Christmas to all you happy campers!

05.01.2022 Anyone for a round of snooker ?

01.01.2022 We were at Cobar on a really windy night a couple of days go, and lots of tents and awnings were flapping madly. As you can see the steel pegs simply pulled out, but not the trusty standard Peggy peg. . . You can also see that I don't even carry a hammer. No need !
