23.01.2022 Success - followed 2 fairy penguins tonight up to their homes - magical

22.01.2022 Tonight, we heard the little fairy penguins and then our first one just across the road from our house. It was so magical - at least 2 little chicks in its burrow (very hungry ones too).

22.01.2022 Check out the beautiful tins! They are heading to a local business in Ulverstone very shortly, stay tuned.

21.01.2022 Always something new in Penguin - they now have a penguin hunt - can you find them all

19.01.2022 A great article about Penguin and why it is such an amazing place to visit when you go to Tasmania for a holiday.

19.01.2022 Found lots of penguin tracks in the sand in the morning. Cant wait to go looking tonight

19.01.2022 A two-storey house was built on Iron Pot in 1885 to house Irishman James Parkinson and his large family, including 7 children. This resulted in one of the most ...unusual sights ever witnessed in Tasmania. The house consisted of 8 rooms, four 14 feet by 12 feet with 11 foot ceilings Whilst the gothic style house would not have been out of place in central Hobart, to passing sailors it must have looked totally at odds within such dramatic wilderness. The home itself featured lead-light windows and a cast iron laced veranda. Dormer windows on the second level gave a birds eye view of the restless sea and a regular looking front door welcomed passing travellers. The lighthouse itself was built on a solid rock foundation and is unique as it features a square base unlike most other designs from the period. 16.01.2022 How gorgeous are the new Christmas Tins

16.01.2022 So much happening in Tasmania at the moment. We were lucky enough to see the Sydney Kings play against the S.E.Melbourne Phoenix in Devonport. A brilliant night out and so close to the action. Anytime is a good time to come visit Tasmania. The NBL Blitz Pre-Season finishes 22nd of September.

16.01.2022 Penguin in February

15.01.2022 They sounded amazing One Note Stand - definitely look up this choir when you are down in Penguin to see where they are playing next.

14.01.2022 You never know who is coming over for a visit. Such a lovely surprise today

13.01.2022 Well these delightful tins are testing beautifully. Huge burn time, been burning on & off since 9am this morning & only a centimetre or 2 gone. thinking at least 30hrs. And I have a new fragrance in it. Gorgeous throw, just have to arrange labels

10.01.2022 We have been so lucky seeing penguins every night so far since our stay. Tonight, I saw quite a few of them coming in on the rocks which I unfortunately scared away when I fell into some water not looking where I was going. A few photos from the past few nights

09.01.2022 What a fantastic place to visit while in Penguin - Goat Island - can not recommend it enough. At low tide you can walk across and explore the island, heaps of sea birds and seaweed around. A lovely way to spend an afternoon

08.01.2022 The girls loved exploring the rock pools across the road today. Sun is shining, water so blue and water not cold to walk in either.

07.01.2022 Shirley our manager, did a wonderful job decoration the Big Penguin for Christmas - come on down for a look around the festival town

07.01.2022 Another great way to see the Penguins is to go to Burnie near the football oval. They have volunteer guides that help you spot them on the rocky cliffs and foreshore. Loved seeing them tonight - the babies fully grown and the adults mottling a the moment. Really worth a visit

04.01.2022 Why not come and do one of the many Park Run in Tasmania. The Burnie 5 km run is along the waterfront, near the Penguin Observation Centre - a nice and flat run with great views of Bass Strait and Burnie, every Saturday at 9 am
