25.01.2022 Sometimes I see parents prepare and make amazing healthy food and snacks for the little ones but not for themselves.... which then leads to them grabbing quickly, easy food on the run, which is not so healthy. If youre going to the effort to make it for your children, make it for you too!

22.01.2022 Honestly, I broke down this afternoon after the Melbourne lockdown was announced. I felt sick in my stomach, my heart started racing, my chest tightened and the tears flowed. And thats ok. Setting up and running a small business as a sole trader is a lot of hard work, then add a global pandemic and 2 lock downs into the mix and yeah, I was feeling a whole lot of emotions this afternoon. Stress, panic, frustration, anxiety and sadness. I have worked really hard these last c...ouple of weeks to get things up and running again for my clients in the safest way possible, Ive also met a couple of new clients and I was so excited to start training them .... ... But, I WILL NOT GIVE UP! Ive had my cry. Ive processed my feelings, Ive put things into perspective and now Im determined to be grateful for what I have, that my family & friends are well and keep in mind that there are many others far, far worse off than me. 10.01.2022 Home made Plum Jam Such a lovely gift from a new client of mine, Julie. So sweet! (Get it?!) Julie is a superstar in my eyes and she inspired me today Shes in her late 60s and survived a heart attack a few years ago. Shes always been active and taken good care of herself and since surviving her heart attack, she has placed even more importance on her health ... Julie cant do her usual sessions at her local gym at the moment, so, she asked me to write a couple of programs she can do at home Her program included the following aspects: Dynamic stretches, posture & mobility, cardio and resistance, balance and co-ordination and static stretching It was a pleasure meeting her at her house today and taking her through her new exercise routine and programs.
