A huge shout out to all the girls/guys that put in so much effort with your costumes you all looked amazing. It wouldnt of been a party without Adam & Chris Watt rocking the dancefloor....thanks guys youre awesome. It was lovely to see so many familiar faces, old friends and new. 19.01.2022 Perth Hills Party Hire had a blast at the 2019 Bickley Harvest Festival presenting "House in the Hills" at Fairbrossen Winery on Saturday. The sun finally came out and it was a perfect afternoon drinking wine on the lawn, eating delicious food from Toms kitchen at fairbrossen while listening to chilled house music. It was great to see so many familiar faces. Thanks for having us Fairbrossen Winery Toms kitchen at fairbrossen and to the DJs you guys are awesome! Meet Paul AvIt Larner DJ, producer, entrepreneur, collector of Aldi bags and self-taught brain doctor. 1. DJs are widely considered as either dim-wits who are not clever enough to learn an instrument or histrionic poseurs; which are you? ... I will put my hands in the air the highest and say option 1 Dim-wit it does haunt me that I cant play an instrument (piano would be my choice) But in defence of Djs please answer me this, why are most Djs producers or at least given producing a go at some point in time or another? 2. What was your favorite past time as a child? Just getting out, on bike, skateboard, in a park, field, playing in the river etc. Im an out out sort of guy. 3. If you had to go on a long road trip with either Catweazle or Worzel Gummidge, who would you prefer and why? No contest, Worzel Gummidge all the way. Two reasons 1st, who dont fancy aunt Sally? 2nd when you get bored of looking at Worzel he can just change his head. 4. Did you ever like pop music? Talk about it Who didnt like pop music. Its funny looking back now and the tunes I gravitated towards. Some my say early underground, from electro, breakdance to 808 state the list is endless. BUT my biggest influence in my early teens was France synth and laser legend John-Michel Jarre. 5. You moved here from London to work at Maurice Mead and met DJ Kev in the salon when you were doing his orange foils. How has Kev contributed to your outlook of the Perth DJ scene? When you meet Kevin with his magnifying charismatic appeal, you dont just meet Kev. You meet all the old skool pioneers. Rich with warmth and endless hours of information and stories to bring you up to speed with the rave scene in Perth from 92 on-wards. The underlying message here is the love of music. When you come into contact with such like minded people you know you are at home. This has been proven locally with the Gravity crew who after all these years are as tight now as they were back in 98. 7. What can people expect from your set at the upcoming Halloween party? Music that gives me goosebumps, always play from my heart. Illuminati confirmed. Thanks for listening.
