13.01.2022 THE ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES OF POLE DANCING- Day 2 POLE CAN BE THEATRICAL Routines with theatrical themes and story telling and always fun and exciting to watch and are a unique way to share your spin on a famous movie, character or song. ... Costume, concept, theme and stage presence are often factors taken into account when judging Pole competitions, and when done well can be a great way to score extra points. It's also really fun to be an audience member and recognise a costume or beginning of a song and feel excitement and nostalgia about what you're about to see come to life on stage. 12.01.2022 THE ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES OF POLE - DAY 3 MEN DO POLE TOO @physipole... We often get messages through to the studio from guys asking if they can come to classes, and of course the answer is YES!! In fact, a lot of men pick up strength tricks super quickly which means we need to advance them through levels at a faster pace! However it isn't just the strong stuff, there are so many incredible male pole artists around the world who perform many different routines! So much so in fact that there is a dedicated @mrpoledancecompetition as well as them being able to enter almost all competitions that run around Australia. If you're looking for inspo check out @apolelin @bluephoenixpoleandfitness @dimitrypolitov or @bradystevenspoleartist (Brady is also an instructor at several PhysiPole Studios locations) just to name a few, although a quick search will bring up SO many more. Everybody loves a good laugh, and it's always a pleasant surprise when a routine pops up during a competition that tickles your funny bone! Comedy is REALLY hard to pull off, which is what makes a good comedy routine such a joy to watch. @poletheatresydney and all of it's associated competitions actually has an ENTIRE category of their competitions dedicated just to Comedy and if you have a look through YouTube for them it will make your day! These routines are always spectacular to watch ... One of the things we love most about pole that is doesn't matter if you have a Ballet background, a HipHop background or no dance background at all, you can turn it into anything you want it to be! 02.01.2022 VIC Studios As of the 3rd of August 2020 face masks are mandatory to be worn except for exercising. You must wear a mask arriving and departing the studio, it is not mandatory to wear masks while exercising but it is recommended and we will adjust your class to minimise cardio....
