24.01.2022 {{ Ride the Wave }} I've been having a few of those days lately...moments in a day...the ones where the world seems to be closing in & it all seems just a little bit too much. . I'm grateful for all of this extra time with my little squishies...I cannot stress this enough.... . I fully comprehend how special this time is, but I don't think I'm alone in my feelings of a complete overabundance of Momming right now... without the type of time off, to fully recharge, that a lot of us really crave (and need to feel sane)!! . My life at this juncture is equal parts: SO much FUN!!! SO FULL ON!!! . I'm talking full spectrum of human emotions (a few I didn't know existed) on the daily!! . I laugh so much I cry! Then I cry so much I laugh! . Then tonight, after a loooooong day, right before bed, Masaï told me two things. . Mommy: You look beautiful in that sweater. (It's been my fave for the past 18 years) . Mommy: I love you so so much & I know that you'll always be there for me. . . And this is what happened: My heart skipped a few beats I got a bit teary I felt for the first time over the past few weeks, within my whole being, that I'm doing the absolute best that I can, and maybe I'm actually getting more of this parenting thing right than I previously thought... The most important people in my world love the heck outta me regardless! . These times are SO unique... . We need to be less hard on ourselves. . We are doing the best we can and guess what? . Our best right now is absolutely perfect through the eyes of the ones who matter most. . Feel all the emotions Ride ALL the waves Hide in the closet if you need a break OR a cry (haha..been there a few times recently!) . 11.01.2022 I love how this guy ROLLS and his commitment to A-Bun-Dance! . .There is only abundance... . Lack is simply an abundance of the things and circumstances we don't want....... . I know right... Mind . Understanding this I can see how focusing on what we don't have actually creates a greater abundance of what we don't want. . My personal focus is to move away from the feelings of a lack of time and unproductive procrastination - see how these are a self-sustaining prophecy that actually feeds the other. The more I procrastinate the less time I have. . Instead I reinforce that I invest my time productively and only take on that which serves my highest purpose... . Even on days that aren't so sunny, just one look at his bright beam, snaps us right back to what matters most. . He has the most uncanny ability of adding a sprinkle of sparkle to any situation, especially at the exact moment it's needed. ... .
