03.02.2022 It’s a start. Very slow weaving but enjoying seeing it grow.

14.01.2022 The loom is finally dressed. Struggling with covid symptoms and still waiting for my test results (day 4 now) I have been taking small snippets of time and slowly getting this warp on the loom. The first time I’ve worked on a floor loom and I can tell you how not to do it. If you use chairs as your warp board be ready for yarn at different lengths. There is a reason why you need to tie to the back beam before you start threading heddles. And keep that cross! In the end I th...readed every one of these yarns individually. Pulled each one out of the tangled mess and put in on the loom. You can see the tangle mess left over, but I have plans to use it all as warp. Making mistakes and figuring it out is sometimes the biggest teacher.
