16.01.2022 Our Top 5 Tips for Surviving the Festive Season as a Pet Owner Tip 5 - Christmas Cake Did you know that fruit cake can be dangerous for dogs? This is mainly due... to the large number of raisins they contain. Raisins are toxic to our furry friends and can cause kidney failure. Other Christmas cake ingredients, such as Macadamias can also cause severe illness. We know it can be difficult to resist those puppy dog eyes staring longingly up at us, but for the safety of your pet this Christmas - don't give in!

10.01.2022 Wonderful clients, we have had a team of fellow Vets and Vet Nurses put a call out for certain burn creams and medications for the injured wildlife currently suffering from the fires. As these are Veterinary specific and are scheduled products we are asking if there's anyone who would like to donate cash towards these products please see the Nurses at reception. We are hoping to have enough to place a large order by the end of next week so they can make their way down. Thank you

08.01.2022 [ W H O C A N F O S T E R M O ? ] Mo's heart-worm treatment is going well, and he's recently been desexed. Whilst a suitable foster home is found for Mo, ...his vet Dr Gavin has kindly offered to foster Mo himself until January 6th. Mo really likes Dr Gavin. So much that he got to be in charge at the vet for the day Mo's is honestly the best dog for that special someone who can give him their focus. Mo will be most suited to fostering where there are no animals. Mo gets along well with others, but his energy & size are too much for most dogs. He is also still a little 'friendly' too often. No one likes a humper Geronimo is still undergoing heartworm treatment and the rescue will take care of the cost of this at Pimpama Pet Vet. When Mo is one-on-one with his human, he's calm, attentive and relaxed. If you are located on the Gold Coast and can help Mo please get in contact. He needs a foster home from January 6th https://www.minisbulldogrescue.com/apply Name: Mo (Geronimo) Age: 2 years old Breed: American Bulldog X Location: Gold Coast, QLD Sex: Male Microchip: 953010004031705 If you'd like to make a donation to Mo's heart-worm treatment https://www.minisbulldogrescue.com/donate
