25.01.2022 Hello all you movers out there. New creative dance course starts Wednesday 26th Feb. For anyone who's not sure what that is, there's a free sneak preview this Sunday (2:30) at Drei Klang, Oberbilk where you can try it out and see if it's your thing. Easy and novel way to be creative and interact with people not to mention a great distraction from the mind.

13.01.2022 Researching today, I came across this description of Jertzy Grotowski's approach to acting in a blog by Chris Aadland. It reminded me of our great reflection round at the end of last week's lesson... "Theatre director Jertzy Grotowski stated that an actor needs a passive courage: the courage of the defenceless, the courage to reveal himself. The actor must not illustrate, but rather accomplish an act of the soul. In our modern society we wish to hide our personalities and add for it a variety of roles and masks. We wish to be an ideal individual as dictated by the course of our civilisation. We play a double game of dividing our dualities, intellect and instinct, thought and emotion, body and soul....Through acting there is an opportunity to discard the masks and reveal the real substance: a totality of physical and mental relations..."

07.01.2022 After moving from Germany to Julatten in March this year, it was high time for an update to the Play Here Now page. I hope all the actors and dancers in Düsseldorf who helped get it started are still moving and creating great drama over there. Alles Gute! 02.01.2022 Hello Everyone, we want to send out a massive thanks to all our friends who came to the shows, Inside and Jarred, weekend before last. It was once again an awesome evening with you, this time with both a dance and a drama performance for the first time. In the hall with Glühwein, so it was cosy, and a happy wrap-up of this year at Play Here Now. We really appreciate all the support from friends and others who've come to performances and taken part in courses and the open hous...e nights. We couldn't have got this babe up and running without you! Hope you all have a good Xmas...get theatrical...do a Xmas dance or show for your family, they'll love it...and a great slide into 2014 and we hope to see you again next year.
