24.01.2022 SPECIAL REQUEST WE WANT YOUR OLD SOCKS Demand for community services to assist homeless and disadvantaged folk has skyrocketed at the same time that many community support volunteers need to stay at home. This has left many homeless and disadvantaged folk in desperate need. Community support groups say some much needed items are needed are: OLD SOCKS (odd socks OK)... SHOES AND SNEAKERS (especially larger mens sizes) We’d like to help out where we can so we're asking you to please bring any unwanted old shoes or socks to your next appointment (odd socks are OK and there’s a special call out for larger men’s shoes and sneakers). If you are having a COVID19 home cleanup please drop off any old/odd socks and large mens shoes and sneakers to Feet First Podiatry at your next appointment. We will deliver for distribution to folk doing it tough. Other items in high demand are old towels, underwear, blankets and non-perishable food. Please drop off at Feet First Podiatry so we can help those who are most in need at this difficult time. Thank you!

09.01.2022 50th anniversary edition of Dr Seuss's The Foot Book! Big thanks to our lovely bookish friends at Dymocks Garden City, who kindly thought of us when this 50th anniversary edition arrived and even dropped a copy off at the practice for all our younger patients to enjoy! This classic Dr Seuss was one of Wes's childhood story books, so maybe Dr Seuss is partly responsible for Wes's lifelong professional interest in foot health and happiness? Thank you Dr Seuss!

06.01.2022 Everyone can help slow the spread of COVID19. We are a hands-on clinic so we have always taken infection control seriously. We are taking additional steps to slow the spread of the virus, to keep you, ourselves and our community safe. Our usual cleaning efforts have been increased and include cleaning all treatment surfaces, door handles, EFTPOS terminals and pens after each patient visit. We have hand sanitiser at the front desk for you to use before you leave the clinic a...s well. We will play our part to help relieve overstretched general practices and keep you comfortable and pain free during this difficult period that faces us all. We aim to stay open and available for you unless otherwise directed. Our friendly front desk team will ask a few short screening questions when you book. We ask that if you have flu like symptoms, have travelled overseas or been in contact with a confirmed COVID19 carrier, please DO NOT ATTEND this practice. We will happily reschedule your appointment for 14 days. Everyone has a role to play to be kind, careful and responsible as we move into a difficult period ahead together. Everyone can help slow the spread of COVID19.
