Bill impacted the lives of many with his infectious smile, kindness and unwavering love for his family and friends. In his time living in Port Fairy, Bill will be remembered for his friendly nature and we loved seeing his passionate support for Ally and the netballers on a Saturday. ... We wish Kerryn, Ally, Jack & Tom our condolences during this tough time, our hearts ache for you.

18.01.2022 On behalf of all PFFNC Committees it is disappointing to announce the cancellation of all training and planned Skills and Drills sessions effective immediately. Whilst Stage 3 restrictions do not start until midnight on Wednesday 5th August, we feel that the risk of training together far outweighs the gain. We had hoped that we would be able to continue in some format, but the guidelines for Regional Victoria state that for Outdoor Sport we are only allowed to exercise or ...complete activities with 1 person or household member, provided 1.5m distance can be maintained. There can be no sharing of equipment or communal facilities. Our hope is that once we come out the other end of this that we can come back together in some format. We still hope to get our Skills and Drills sessions going for our budding juniors at some stage. We will be reviewing reimbursement of fees over the next week or so, however if you have already paid / registered for Skills and Drills and would like a refund please email [email protected] Take care everyone, and stay safe.

14.01.2022 2021 RESERVES COACH’S The PFFNC is excited to announce that Darren Stenhouse and Jason Leddin have been appointed the 2021 Reserve football coaches. Both Darren and Jason have been actively involved with the club for many years and have a wealth of football experience. The role became vacant after the 2020 appointed Reserves coach, Les Lynch’s work environment changed due to Covid and was unable to continue the job. Stena and Spud were keen to be involved and plan to bri...ng the fun back to Reserves group. With the help of Senior coach Winis Imbi, assistant coach Shane Threlfall, Stena and Spud plan to develop players for the Senior competition but not forget the other players who are an integral part of the club. 09.01.2022 With Basketball starting back on Wednesday nights, we are cancelling our last night of training for 2020 which was tomorrow night. We would like to thank ALL of our players, our coaches, and our parents who got us through a year that just continued to throw us 'crap' (excuse me - but I couldn't think of a better word), and we all had to adjust on a dime each and every time. A quick update following our Port Fairy Junior Committee (Zoom) meeting this week - the club will be reimbursing a portion of all memberships back to all players. Gerard and Melina will be in contact with all families to arrange this. As you can understand, this is a huge task, so please know we will get to you ASAP. The Netball Department have sent an email to all netballers regardin...g applying for refund from VNA - if you havent received that email please contact them on [email protected] We thank the HFNL for supporting our clubs - to ensure that we can cover costs for not just this year, but moving into 2021. We are still hoping to get to some sort of training (whatever way that looks) once restrictions ease. 04.01.2022 Hi all, a quick heads up that reimbursements for Netball / Football membership / insurances (18.5 and under players for 2020) are on their way. A reminder that we have kept a minimal amount of the club membership to cover our costs that had already been incurred for 2020. We promise you that weve kept the budget tight, as we know some families / businesses are doing it tough as well. * Footballers - SportsTG are able to directly reimburse part payment to the account from whi...ch it was paid. So keep an eye out - it could take 2 weeks to reach you. * Netballers - As per previous post, an email has been sent to you previously to apply for reimbursement of the VNA component of your payment. The remaining part (PFFNC membership minus a small component for costs per above) has been quite difficult to sort direct payment to your payment account, so we have envelopes with cash payments to be distributed (so we didnt have to ask you for banking details). I believe Nicole has been allocated as the distributor so please allow her time to contact you as needed. I hope you are all taking care, and staying safe. Most importantly - ask your mates, your neighbours, mum and dad, and even your grandparents or your teachers - ARE YOU OK? These are tough times, and we need to stick by each other. You never know - you might just find someone who just needs a check in......

03.01.2022 The Port Fairy Junior Football Netball Committee would like to thank everyone for what has been one of our most difficult seasons to date. But what was so very evident was our ability to show resilience and strength to get out there and be with our mates - it showed great toughness, and there is no doubt our club has a very bright future with our up and coming juniors. The Junior Committee thanks all of our coaches, assistants, senior players, committee members and parents th...at helped us each training night, and on our 2 game days. But the biggest thank you goes to those that worked as our protectors - they cleaned and sanitised, and then cleaned and sanitised again. And they kept us safe. You are all AMAZING.
