21.01.2022 Foster Carers Urgently Needed We are a local rescue group in the Mackay area and we urgently need more foster carers. An unprecedented number of adult cats and kittens are being abandoned in the Mackay area. These poor creatures face certain death if left in the Pound. We can only save them if they have a foster home to go to. These animals deserve a second chance. They respond positively to love and affection. If you are able to assist by becoming a foster carer please send me a pm with an email address and I will send you an application form. If you cannot foster please consider making a donation of cat/kitten food. These can be left at the Northern Beaches Veterinary Hospital. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

20.01.2022 We received a most welcome and needed donation of food and kitty litter from Emmett 4 Animals. Emmett started collecting food to donate to rescue groups when he was only six years old. Eleven years later and Emmett is still donating to rescue groups like ours. If you see one of Emnett’s food bins at the supermarkets or veterinary surgeries please donate some much needed pet food. It helps out animals in foster care. Thank you Emmett and your family for your wonderful support.

16.01.2022 This little cutie is Carrots, and he is a little character who loves playing with balls. If you find a ball, you will always find Carrots close by. He loves his... food, and he loves to sleep. Sometimes he likes to combine the two and have a quick power nap in his kitten biscuits. Carrots is ready for pre-adoption and will be ready to go his new home just before Christmas. Carrots will come vaccinated, de-sexed, wormed, and micro-chipped. 12.01.2022 Meet Taffy. He is a pint sized kitten with a huge personality. He was dumped with his mama and siblings. Being the adventurer that he is Taffy found his way ...into a nearby home where he won the hearts of the entire family and the family dog. Taffy was reluctantly surrendered into foster care where he is now thriving. He is entertaining to watch as he explores the world around him. But he keeps coming back to check I am here. He climbs up under my chin purring away and giving me lots of little kitten kisses. Yes I am truly smitten. This kitten is truly adorable and he is cute as a button. 10.01.2022 Poppy has been adopted. We are all so delighted that this gorgeous girl finally found her forever home. It has been a long hard road for Poppy. A big thank you to Robin and Nicole for fostering this lovely young cat.

08.01.2022 On January 20th a young kitten was found dumped at slade point with a litter of three of her own. Four months later, this small and lonely girl, Chantae is sti...ll in care. She is a timid but loving girl, scared by the trust humans have broken in her one too many times. If your heart and home is open to give this beautiful creature a new start to life please send me a message on Facebook so we can arrange a meet and greet. Please note Chantae is avalaible for adoption through local rescue group Pound Rescue Inc. in Mackay QLD, a group run completely by volunteers. You can help our team in other ways by donating food and litter to our drop points on the second photo.

01.01.2022 Introducing Pearl and her precious gems Granite, Slate, Mahogany, and Quartz. Pearl is a stunning young mother of 6 to 8 months. She has enormous blue eyes, ...a silky soft coat, and a very loving nature. She just loves kisses and pats. Her gorgeous kittens are just 4 weeks old and all four cuties are soft playful bundles of fur (lots of it). These guys are still only tiny however are available for pre-adoption.
