Laura and Sam have packed all the skids up and your items are now on the way to Victorian Freight Specialists Melbourne and will be dropped to Foodbank in the morning. We will still be collecting all week, so if you do have any donations you would like to drop to 104 Harpin Street, East Bendigo - we will get these to Foodbank.... Thanks again.

22.01.2022 Power’s Country Express is pleased to advise we have added 2 new Mercedes Sprinter Vans to our fleet today. These vans are state of the art and will help us serve our customers requirements well and provide great comfort and safety to our staff who will use them. We have had a great run with all our Sprinter’s which have all been purchased locally from Sam, Mark and Adam from Poyser Motor Group - Mercedes-Benz Bendigo. Thanks also to Heath from Wizartry Signs for completing the sign writing. Sam is pretty happy with how they came up!

13.01.2022 Emma and Damien are pleased to announce that we have now relocated Power's Country Express Bendigo to bigger and better premises at 13 York Street, Eaglehawk. Our phone numbers and contact details remain the same. Our new site is located next to the Tip Top factory and many people will remember this building as the former Keogh's Manufacturing site. We are really looking forward to having more space both undercover and within our yard to continue to service our customers well.

13.01.2022 Some really pleasing outcomes with our waste solutions at Power’s Country Express over the past few months. All cardboard is consolidated and recycled. Instead of sending shrink wrap to landfill after local waste providers could not accept, we invested in a bailing machine and all clear plastic now goes to Replas - Recycled Plastic Products where it will be recycled into many great products. ... We have also been actively trying to rehome good quality plain pallets for many years now and thanks to Fosterville Gold Mine, Jackal Fencing, Bendigo Precast Concrete Products and some local community groups we are well on the way to having re use for the total amount of these we get. Thanks to all the people have helped including @Cindy Bird for her advice and all our staff for separating these products.

These donated items will be placed on pallets and transported free of charge from Bendigo by Powers Country Express and VFS into Foodbank. Powers and VFS have a long term relationship bringing Foodbank products into Foodsha...re Agencies and Schools in our region. Please check the Foodbank website or Facebook page on what items are highly sought after and the guidelines for donations. Ideal items to donate are good quality tinned food (with ring pulls), UHT milk, items that are easy to just grab and go like muesli bars, cereals, biscuits and pantry staples. We are also accepting pet food, sanitary and personal hygiene items including toilet paper, toothbrushes, deodorant etc. Please do not donate any razors, medicine, alcohol, bedding or clothing (new or used).
