22.01.2022 EVERY WEST AUSTRALIAN NEEDS TO KNOW ABOUT SERCO West Australian tradespeople and labourers at Fiona Stanley Hospital are not being paid fair wages and conditions by the private contractor Serco. And Serco are not actually delivering the services the WA taxpayer is paying for.... In 2017, Serco were stripped of the contract for equipment sterilisation at Fiona Stanley when if came out that corner cutting resulted in human tissue being present on surgical impliments that had supposedly been sterilised. They have the same problems across all of their service contract areas at Fiona Stanley. Corner cutting is resulting in critical failues including serious problems with the backup power generation systems that are supposed to keep people alive in the hospital during a major power outage. We also have reports that public water fountains are full of dirt and mould because Serco told workers it was too expensive to use and maintain the water filters that were originally fitted. Serco are gouging thier profit out of the rightful wages and conditions of their workers and they're not actually delivering the services that the West Australian taxpayer is paying them for. The ongoijng privatisation of our public health system is a digraceful scam. It does not deliver services for less. It just delivers less services. 15.01.2022 SERCO IS RIPPING OFF EVERY WEST AUSTRALIAN. SHOW THESE WORKERS YOUR SUPPORT. Workers at the so-called "flagship' WA hospital, Fiona Stanley, are not being paid a fair and living wage by the profit gouging private contractor Serco. And they are proudly on day 7 of industrial action to win a fair deal. Serco are not delivering the level of service to the WA taxpayer that we should rightly expect.... The 'prvitisation by stealth' of contracting out essential public services is an complete failure. The myth of private sector 'efficiency' has been laid bare by COVID. It simply does not deliver services for less. It's just delivers less services. And it's every West Australian who is paying for it. Roger Cook, Fiona Stanley Hospital, this is not good enough.

09.01.2022 WTF! THIS IS IN OUR 'FLAGSHIP' PUBLIC HOSPITAL!!!!! PPTEU have been passed this photo showing the inside of one of the water coolers at Fiona Stanley Hospital. They are supposed to be maintained by the giant British multinational Serco. Serco has been at the centre of failures to deliver what they are contracted to in Britain, resulting in the catastrophic failure to stop the spread of COVID-19.... They were also quietly stripped of the contract to sterilise medial equipment at Fiona Stanley when an audit found human tissue on surgical tools that were supposed to be sterilised! Workers have reported being told by Serco management that replacing and maintaining the filters in the water coolers was too expensive and to leave them out! So any contaminants in the water just build up into a sludge inside the drinking water coolers. Mark McGowan, Roger Cook, Fiona Stanley Hospital, this is unacceptable. How many times do we have to find out this company is not actually delivering what they're paid for before they stop being handed billions of dollars of taxpayer's money?
