20.01.2022 WARNING: MORE SCAMS HAPPENING A local business owner just rang us. He was using his computer when it froze, then a number came up on the screen, with a message (from FAKE Microsoft) saying the computer had issues, must not be turned off and that the number must be called so as to fix the computer's issues because it had been hacked. It wasn't Microsoft he was talking to, but the very convincing hackers!... They were allowed access into his computer for quite a while however when they started asking for banking details so they could bill him, he called us to check. He was immediately advised they were hackers and that he must TURN OFF the computer STRAIGHT AWAY so that the hackers couldn't access his computer anymore. The computer now has to come in for a full clean-up, and the owner was advised to call his bank as soon as our call ended. Please everyone, tell your friends and family members (especially elderly computer users): MICROSOFT, TELSTRA and AMAZON (etc.) DO NOT and WILL NOT CONTACT YOU IF YOU ARE HAVING ANY KIND OF COMPUTER and/or INTERNET ISSUES DO NOT GIVE ANYONE SAYING THEY'RE FROM MICROSOFT, TELSTRA, AMAZON, POWER COMPANIES OR ANYWHERE ELSE, ACCESS TO YOUR COMPUTER (especially NOT YOUR BANKING DETAILS) IF YOU'RE NOT SURE THEY ARE LEGITIMATE - HANG UP IF YOU LET THEM INTO YOUR COMPUTER THEN REALISE YOU'VE MADE A MISTAKE - URGENTLY TURN YOUR COMPUTER OFF USING THE POWER BUTTON Call us at Precise PCs straight away for advice. 12.01.2022 QUEENSLAND BORDER PASSES - $1 EACH As from Friday 3.7.2020 you will need a new pass in order to cross the Qld/NSW border. These passes are only valid for SEVEN DAYS from the time of approval. We can print them out for you for just $1 per pass. Because they're only valid for 7 days it's unlikely you'll need them laminated, however if you choose to, laminated copies will be $2.... Simply email your pass to us at [email protected], or bring them in on your flashdrive/USB stick or mobile phone and we'll print them directly from there.
