17.01.2022 We said farewell to a new found friend last week and they were thankfully reunited with their parents. This completed an amazing chapter in the Collectives history and was a joy and an blessing to be a part of. Our Garden Guru Mitch and Kitchen Craftsman Tully discovered an injured Lorikeet in the road nearby and brought it back to the Garden for rehabilitation. Mitch meticulously cared for the bird, resting it, feeding it, facilitating meetings with the parents and also carried out physio on the birds injuries over the course of weeks. What a hero and inspiration, we were all in awe of this wonderful human/nature connection. Here are a few pics of Parsley what a beautiful and courageous little bird, but stay tuned for more video footage of its recovery journey with us

14.01.2022 Big Thanks to Urban Farming Collective for the donated mushroom blocks we made some beds under the gum trees and had huge success

13.01.2022 It’s all smiles down at the Garden after a few productive weeks, we've built a new 'Stonehenge Bed' where we plan to plant lots more Eggplants, we started a new giant Compost Pile and check out the size of this Tromboncino! What a beast!

11.01.2022 For those interested in the story about Parsley the courageous baby Lorikeet who was rescued outside the Garden recently here is more video footage (and heaps in the video library) from our Garden Guru Mitch Jeno. Mitch took great care of the bird and nursed it back to full fitness after what appeared to be a nasty accident. We can now report that Parsley has returned to it’s family and is back living in the native Gum trees behind the Geodome at the Garden

09.01.2022 Hey Folks hope everyone’s enjoying this crazy Summer Weather...the Garden plants seem to be loving it! We have heaps of food growing now, enough to feed our awesome Working Bee’s and regular harvests for our best friends Lentil As Anything. Feels good to be achieving one of our main goals for 2020 already. Check out these beauties pictured! Massive thanks to all those who’ve helped so far in our journey

I've inspired by a friend of mine last week, a fellow Gardener and I hope this emphasises if we take care of the land, cooperate, and make peace with nature, it will reward us greatly! 03.01.2022 Would love to see this fresh produce on plates before it ends up going into the "HOT BOX" (compost) Come grab what you need, pay as you feel, and walk out with a smile in your heart. Self harvesting is welcomed just ask one of the collective folks. All produce is organically growing from the goodwill of some awesome volunteers, the garden runs entirely for and by community.... The space is super casual come get involved in any capacity it's up to you! We will be hold a clearance sale by DONATION until the end of December. We have a bunch of Succulents that need to go!
