13.01.2022 Water is life! And your water tanks are essential vessels for storing this precious commodity. Here we have a water tank that has been used as a storage area. Quite often we find water tanks 'dressed up', painted, hidden by trees/shrubs. While you might consider your water tank to be an eyesore, to help maintain good quality water and save on expensive repair work, our advise is to leave your water tank clear and to check it regularly.... It took some time for Jason to dig down to the access hatch for this concrete tank. But the weight of all those pavers and tiles isn't going to help the structural longevity! And just look at the sludge that was pumped out of this tank!

10.01.2022 Concrete water tanks are highly susceptible to tree roots. Trees and hedges will work their way through the smallest of cracks, damaging your water tanks in the process. Tree roots also accumulate dirt that has been washed into your tank from the roof, and actually drag soil into the tank as well. This build up of organic matter then allows bacteria and water viruses to breed. We may have gone a little over the top with the eerie music on this video, but we think it helps highlight the importance of the need to ensure your water tank is clear of any organic debris. Especially tree roots!

09.01.2022 Town water might not be as clean as you think! Chris recently replaced these Whole of House filters that operate off water mains, and after 6-months, this is the result! While mains water is still fine to drink, it can be better!... We have a wide range of filtration options, including Whole of House (every tap is then providing filtered water), Undersink (with own faucet) or Above sink. There are different filters for different situations, so feel free to be in touch if you would like to discuss.
