10.01.2022 Message to our Clients and Actors In light of the recent spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), Production Alley would like to let you know how we envisage moving forward and the services we can offer to help with future productions. Firstly, in addition to our usual cleaning and hygiene practices, extra care will be taken to ensure all studios, doors, door handles and bathrooms will be wiped down and disinfected before and after every session. This includes the control room, voic...e over booth, microphones and pop shields. We have also licensed technology that will allow clients and talent to record and be involved in sessions remotely, all in realtime with no delays. This system is second to none for directing talent online. As long as you have access to a phone or google chrome, you can dial in and produce talent live as if you were sitting in the studio doing a normal link up with another studio. You will be able to speak directly to the talent and engineer. Our engineers can mix and play your pictures and audio live into your home or office, any changes can be done with us on the fly. We can play you selected takes in sync with pictures instantly. We have also compiled a list of talent who can right now be recorded from their home, and we will cast voices from this list if necessary. If we find ourselves home quarantined Ben and I will be able to work from our home studio as per normal, and Gregor will be continuing to do his music from home. The studio has exactly the same gear as our other studios and we have all our masters onsite as well. Yes, we are guessing how this is all going to play out, but at least if you find yourself needing to record or mix any audio externally we can definitely help out. If you have any questions, or would like to find out more about how to organise a remote session, please get in touch. Rodney Lowe Managing Director

07.01.2022 Luke Wallis. Head of Lifestyle*. And the man who interviewed Mick Jagger. Ever wondered what it would be like to be this close to Micks lips? To do small talk with a hungover Matt Damon? To witness Meatloafs PA wipe his nose for him? Luke Wallis has chatted with them all, and had time to write a book featuring the legends of Aussie rock, from Michael Hutchence to The Angels. Forgot the Rona. Spend 20 minutes with Luke, and all will be well in your world once more.... *whatever that means.

07.01.2022 Congratulations to Bryony Marks for her great wins. Recorded and mixed with Production Alley. The AACTA Award for Best Original Score in Television goes to Bryony Marks for LAMBS OF GOD. #AACTAs

02.01.2022 This week on 20 Minutes to Nowhere; For decades Mike and his team at Mike Reed Post Production were the busiest editors in the business. Mike takes us back to those 80 hour weeks, smoking five packs of cigarettes a day, trying to control directors and creatives. He talks about being a father to profoundly deaf children, the fire that gutted his business, and his photography which reveals his true and honest self. Listen to Mike on iTunes Podcasts or https://share.transistor.fm/s/8da6ba51
