19.01.2022 Robot like a Girl! For the past two days, girls from across the Illawarra have been meeting at the ProjectB workshop and exploring LEGO robotics, creating robots to draw, dance, play music and spin - and then closing with the ever-popular Robot-Battleship. Of course, they all got a look at what FRC is all about!... "Rocketing Girls Into Robotics" is an all-girl STEM program run in partnership with the Rotary Club of Corrimal and funded by a grant from the Commonwealth Department of Industry and Innovation. We're now in the end stages of the program and working to get as many girls involved as we can before the end! #robotlikeagirl #FirstRobotics

16.01.2022 A fantastic result for ProjectB, taking home the Robot Performance and Championship Trophies - and coach Andrew receiving the team's first FLL Coach/Mentor Award. We would provide a photo of the team, but they decided to celebrate by diving into the pool :-) We'll be heading to the Nationals in December - accompanied by the FLL - Sussex Smashers, LEGOQueens, and Infinity. "See" you there!!

16.01.2022 Presenting Foosball with MINDSTORMS EV3! Brought to you by our Tuesday evening "Master Class" of high-school students. This activity gives a challenge with basic specs and a LOT of room for customisation!

11.01.2022 The 2020 Wollongong Regional is done - COVID has slowed us down, but the kids keep showing us what they are capable of! Navigating multiple COVID safety restrictions, the teams showed resilience and enthusiasm as they turned in astounding performances all round. Special congratulations to our Champions, the Doughnut Eating Llamas. We look forward to seeing everyone next year - hopefully COVID free and ready to make some noise!

10.01.2022 Get ready to Robot! The Project Bucephalus Robo Camps are open for registration at www.projectb.net.au/robo-camps/. We have both remote and face-to-face classes taking place in the October holidays. Spaces are more limited than usual so we can meet in a COVID-safe manner. Book ASAP if you're interested!
