23.01.2022 Meet our first 'Curious Conversation' guests Katy Woods & Meredith Fitzsimon Katy and Meredith are a multidisciplinary duo who develop contemporary dance-theatr...e works. Producing for over a decade their synergistic bond filters into their performance, creating a distinct, surreal & intimate choreographic style. In 2020 Katy & Meredith directed a series of roving performers and moving art pieces for Toowoombas biennial LIT Festival: Stories in Light. You can go along to the LIT Festival on the 14th and 15th March. If you visited the Garden of Curiosity last year, you might have been lucky enough to see the mesmerizing short film Falling. 04.01.2022 JACKSON LINDBLOM (aka RIPTIDAL) is a music producer/artist from the Lockyer Valley, Queensland. He specialises in splicing elements of heavy electronic bass mus...ic and chill production themes into a concoction of emotional dance music. Similar to other artist's in the genre, he primarily works out of his bedroom on a laptop. Despite this he manages to create high quality music on par with many professionals in the industry. Jackson says being an independent artist in the electronic/information age is like being a musical swiss army knife, having to not only be in charge of your tunes but also having to do your own managing and marketing. Come join us for a curious conversation at 7.30pm Friday evening in the Garden at Curious Arts Festivalyou may even help him create some original sounds while your there. To listen to some of his music go to: https://traktrain.com/riptidalmusic

03.01.2022 Last year some participants shared feedback in the way of a stream of consciousness. "Sensational, connective, invigorating, replenishing. There were worms, words, sheep, singing, lots of moving, silence, and no silence. Listening, noticing, observing, experiencing. Being. Just. Being in the moment. Seeing tired as a new form of dealing with an energy level. Being present, being subconsciously distracted. Retracting and extracting. Reforming, renewing a sense of being. Finding pleasure ... again, and again, and again. Peacefulness. Challenge in positive ways. Supported. Sensitive. Laughter. Oh the feels of playtime! Nothing is no longer nothing but something." Early Bird deal ends this Sunday! www.trybooking.com/BIGKM
