22.01.2022 According to Hamish and Andy "mistakes are cakes". Sounds like a good marketing idea to me!

20.01.2022 Bit of experimentation with the leopard print, next time I would do it differently. Lucky my "client" is forgiving, right Kerry Byrnes?

14.01.2022 The incredibly knowledgeable madeitwithlove (who is far and away our top contributor) has kindly put together a chart to help our members calculate how much buttercream to use for various cake sizes/layers/fillings! Enjoy! x

04.01.2022 Edible metallic paint, royal icing stencilling, stripes, ruffle flowers

04.01.2022 Recently, this cake was shared all over Facebook, but now you can see how it was made! This tutorial shows how they made up different neon-coloured cake batter...s, used piping bags to squirt it into the cake tin so it looks like tie-dye, then they baked the cake and cut it into slices. Then they used a cookie cutter to cut "5" out of each piece. Then they made some white cake batter, half-filled the cake tin, put the 5 pieces in so they stand up and filled the cake tin with the rest of the white batter. Bake the cake and then cover it with some marbled fondant. Brilliant! The second photo shows how you can do it with a double heart cutter - so cute! You could do it with any cutter and colour combination. See more

03.01.2022 Love the BB-8 cake!

02.01.2022 My first upside down ice cream cake. Inspired by the fabulous Katherine Sabbath. Chocolate mud cake, with buttercream and coloured white chocolate ganache.
