20.01.2022 What an awesome last weekend for the Q9/QAPA team! With 12 of our players travelling over to Adelaide for the Furphy 9 Ball Open and one person competing in the Queensland Cup (2 shot) we had success on all fronts. James Liu took out the Queensland Cup. Well done James! In Adelaide, 10 of our 12 players qualified for the second day of the singles comp with James Li, Bean Hung and Ivan Li finishing in the Top 16, with Alvin Wijaya making it through to the quarter final in th...e singles. In the 9 ball Scotch Doubles comp, it was a Q9 domination in the Grand Final with 3 of the 4 finalist players coming from our pool hall. Alvin Wijaya and his partner James Georgiadis came back from being 5-1 down in the semi finals against Marco Teustcher and Justin Sajich to win that and then go on to beat our very own Bean Hung and Ivan Li in the finals to take out the $4000 first prize.
