15.01.2022 COVID-19 Update Faced with considerations for the health of our singing members and the possible lack of support for our concerts in terms of audience participation, we have suspended the operations of the Choir, including rehearsals, until June 2020 and as a result have reluctantly cancelled the concerts scheduled for May. The date for the return of choral activity will be reviewed closer to that time and we will advise on any further changes to our concert programme as we... are able. We are hopeful of continuing with our concerts planned for the latter part of the year and look forward to being able to add some wonderful singing to the activity for the community to brighten all our days. Thank you for your support of The Queensland Choir.

13.01.2022 The Queensland Choir would like to congratulate Ian Orchard named in todays Queens Birthday Honours List with a Medal (OAM) in the General Division. Ian has been recognised by his Excellency, the Governor-General of Australia for his tireless and tremendous work over many years with the Choir and the wider choir community. Ian also has a long term involvement with his Church and Scout Queensland. We know Ian would be quite embarrassed by this post, however, he needs to know how much we value and thank him for making a fantastic difference to our community way of life. Congratulations Ian.

Non confronting auditions have been scheduled for Wednesday 29 January, Thursday 30th January and Saturday 1st February at certain times.
