18.01.2022 My dad is 86 (very nearly), I am his eldest son I am 66 (very nearly) and I sit on the board of directors f the Q.I.A. My mum wont let me tell her age :) but she is well. This came from a relation of ours in Ireland tonight... I was born in Clara, county Kilkenny....a member of a proud Irish family who are even prouder Australians... Dad put this "little book " together many many years ago to support and help fund the Saint Patricks day parade in Brisbane.....I dont know h...ow many thousand copies it sold around the globe over many many years... (I have one somewhere) but this one came from Ireland tonight..thanks Jason It was great to see this again after all these years. In these difficult COVID19 times with all the issues and fears that come to the elderly and the not so elderly, I still believe we are in a wonderful safe, nurturing country which has been kind to so many Irish expats. Have a look through Dads "little book" as he calls it and see if you can find some memories there ( "Kit" is my mum) and she still makes the best apple tarts in the whole world ;)
