25.01.2022 Join us in our Festival celebrations for Kathleen Welsh who marks 50 years as Rose of Tralee this year! Kathy represented Holyoke in 1970, and unable to t...ravel, sent us this special message: "After so many years of being unable to engage in the Festival of Kerry for a variety of reasons, I have been so looking forward to going this year now that I am retired. I will keep my sights on any possible opportunities too travel to Ireland as it has been far too long since I have been in in my ancestors homeland. Of course I hope and pray that I will also attend the next Festival of Kerry. Until then I will continue to dream of the beautiful country with so many warm and wonderful people. Wishing the Festival team happiness and good health." Thank you Kathy, and congratulations on your 50th year as Rose of Tralee, from all of us in the Rose of Tralee International Festival #roseoftralee #rosememories

24.01.2022 Important information from the Embassy of Ireland, Canberra for Irish citizens wishing to LEAVE Australia. *Note, there are currently no direct flights from Bri...sbane to Ireland* We ask you register your details on the Citizens Register which can be found here: https://www.dfa.ie/travel/citizens-registration/ If you need to leave Australia in the next few weeks, please indicate that on the departure date tab. The citizens register is the only method by which the Embassy are collating information on all our citizens in Australia, so its vitally important that you register.

08.01.2022 This announcement may appear to just add to the long list of events that the COVID-19 pandemic has had its effect on but for our world wide Rose of Tralee community it is heartbreaking. Each year we all travel to the beautiful vale of Tralee to celebrate our diaspora, our ancestral roots, our home, our wonderful & inspiring Irish women from all walks of life. This year we dont get to do that. However we do get to continue to be proud of an organization and group of people th...at support us and have made the difficult yet necessary decision to keep our communities safe and well. Thank you Rose of Tralee International Festival for ensuring we all stay safe, stay healthy, stay home and stay together as a world wide family. The Queensland Rose Centre and community will continue to work towards 2021 and cant wait to see what lies ahead for us all. Thank you everyone for your continued support and we look forward to keeping you updated on what our entrants will be up to next. #staysafe #roseoftralee #qldrose #2021

05.01.2022 11.30pm on the Tuesday Night of the Rose of Tralee. We should be under the stars in the Dome waiting to meet our 2020 Rose of Tralee, and to introduce her to th...e people of Tralee with the Midnight Madness parade and fireworks. Its goes without saying that 2020 has been, and continues to be, a challenge for each of us. But amidst all the stress, worry and heartache this year has brought, a light has been shone on the goodness in people and the importance of community. Over the past week, the outpouring of love and support for Tralee and the Rose of Tralee International Festival has been heartening and we appreciate every single message and memory youve taken the time to share with us. A special thank you also goes to our Sponsors and Rose Family for their continued friendship and support. We really look forward to coming together and celebrating with you all again when the time is right. Thank You
